At least back then gear protected you half this crap now is worthless.  That FXR stuff I saw at a shop wouldn't last but a few rides.  That's the big difference.  I'll pay for quality, I'm not paying for this thin crap now.

It’s lasted me a long time. Still rocking FXR sets from 2019. The new stuff I have is incredible. They’ve came a long way when they first started.

I really like FXR, but it needs some more padding around the junk area. The roost to the nuts when standing is terrible. Never had this problem before until I switched.

FXR is thin but the material holds up super well. Very uncommon to wear through the leather on the knee area which is not the case with most competitors.

Something is off with this whole FTA thing. There is nothing that differentiates it from FXR except the letters.

Is there a major brand that doesnt have its logo/name plastered all over the gear and only does it subtle?

Maybe they are trying to separate their snow line from their moto line???    FXR = Snow    FTA = Moto

I have no idea but I do like the gear. I have been running FXR for 2 years now and it holds up really well. I was running ALIAS before and was bummed when they closed up cause that stuff held up really well also.

My son wanted SEVEN so I got him a couple sets of gear and it was HORRIBLE!  So thin, so cheap, it would not last.  Just my experience.

I wish they’d sell the all green/yellow set that people have been wearing at Loretta’s!
