Watching the Weege show from LL and he had a really good interview with Kevin Windham and it sure sounds like he is running and learning the science of fitness while working with some riders. Hope to see him race the Ranch next year and enjoy himself.
Honestly? I’d just LOVE to see K-Dub come back to the stadiums. give us some K-Dub laps with a GoPro on as he explains the track to us. After that he can be The Floor Guy during the night show.
BUT…as the night show starts…I wanna see him do his “Transfers”…damn, I miss those!
Towards the end with K-Dub! Good stuff
So people hate the fact that Brown races Loretta Lynn's but would love to see KDub. Go figure.
Just Meister.

Talk about feeling old (or maybe 'vintage')...
I watched that interview the other day, and it's crazy to see KDub with greying hair & hearing him talk about he and Dottie soon to be empty nesters. It seems like just a few years ago when he was coming into the 125 class as the next big thing. From the sound of it, he's entertaining a run at the ranch in the future. I hope he does.
Kdub takes training his 15-20 guys very seriously. Only reason he didn’t race this year.
He is definitely racing again in the coming years.
Yes, feeling old indeed. I remember seeing a guy that looked just like him (his father) talking into his helmet while he diligently listened to Dwayne’s instructions. Was awesome to witness for sure and glad to see Kevin enjoying motocross as it seemed he lost that for a bit.
He made a bet with Kyle Swanson that if Kyle finished on the podium, he would race next year. I believe Kyle was only up there for 1 moto, so I don't know if that counts or if the bet was for the overall.
I'd love to see Kevin come race though. He would make a lot of those younger guys pack up their stuff and go home.
What a legend. Fuck it’s weird seeing your childhood hero’s get old tho!
Hard to tell from an interview with a seemingly regular joe how ridiculously badass that dude was. Like, all the baddest men on the planet had a day when they were wondering how KW was going that fast. Crazy.
Dilla this weekend, just saying
KDub will forever be one of my favorites and has been from the time he turned pro. Had the chance to drink a rum and coke with him at a TuckerRocky dealer show and that was one thing I will forever brag about. Dude is an absolute legend and had one of the best riding styles around.
Not only one of my favorite riders, but also one of my favorite riders to watch ride. Legend.
I'd like to see him try getting back in the TV booth again now that he's had some time away from racing. When he was racing I think we all looked forward to him being the color guy when he retired...but then when he did I thought he was just ok at it. Much like how James is good on tv now, I bet KW would be too.
As an aside, I really liked the rotating hosts they had last year for the nationals. I would love it if they would do that again.
K-Dub ate In n Out and sat in my box van with me once at the old Rail Road Cyn track. That's pretty much my only story with the legend.
For me, I was racing the Washington County Fair race in Missouri where his good friend Chris Blankenship passed away. Kevin was super cool, and his Honda was VICIOUS sounding compared to everyone else. This was right after the transfers no longer were being done by him. He went out with the pro class and waxed them the first moto and then let everyone go the second motos. He ripped up through the pack and then pulled off and allowed the boys to collect the purse. Just a class act.
