WOW!!! Reality TV now hits the freestyle genre......yawn

whats next? The "Real" FMX-er's of Riverside County???

Too bad a part of the population can be hell bent on personal destruction.....tragic, but yet familiar in all walks of life..

I spent quite a bit of time with Larry when he was a kid (17ish.) He had soooo much support from his family but he pissed it all away. None of this surprises me, except somebody still thinks Larry is special and now they have made a movie about him. This movie isn't gonna straighten anybody out or do any good for anybody else...just another wasted shot that Larry will throw away. I should have never turned him on to Suicidal Tendencies. LOL.

The shame of it is, Larry had some good qualities.

I've got no sympathy for him. Sorry.

The Dogtown skater stories that started this genre of movie were OK, they were pioneers. I do respect these FMX guys skill though.

Dogtown started documentarys? I find all types of documentary interesting, so this one should not be a exception.

It doesnt suprise me with the pain med addiction. It does however raise the question about how many retired or current racers could have this problem. With the beating and broken bones a racer suffers throughout a career it wouldnt be hard to become addicted to meds after being on and off of them. I remember a Nico Izzi story talking about how difficult the process was to get off percs after his supercross get off. He stated that he had intense headaches and vomiting. I just hope this isnt an underlying issue that goes unnoticed with the industry.

Whats hilarious is when you hearhim call other FMXers sell-outs, when he has an entire compound paid for by his family. Guess you dont have to sell-out when mommy and daddy buy you everything. He is a joke and a complete waste to the moto community

What the deal with this guy? Can someone enlighten me further? You guys make him sound like an assclown. Obviously he became burnt out.

I remember seeing him in some vids when crusty kicked off but he looked like a guy they picked off the street and strapped a bike on him.

Yeah it is, I had not seen that part until today.

Larry Linkogle was a racer who got tired of the sorporate scene. He went on to start the Metal Mulisha with Brian Deegan. He won the first ever FMX contest, thanked his meth dealer then claimed he hopped he would crash and his bike would decapitate a family. He then said FMX got to corporate so he quit doing it, at the same time he was collecting sponsors and living off his parents money. He apparently got heavy into prescription drugs

There is a huge underlying issue with pain meds and sports... Especially in this sport.. Larry isnt the first and wont be the last - and he is just one of many..

Give the dude a break guys. We don't know what it's like being in his shoes.

I don't understand why he jumped off the bike like that. To me, it seems like the suspension absorbing some of that impact would have lessened the severity of the crash.
