Cool video. I was surprised to see that many ruts on the track. I didn't think SoCal tracks developed ruts.

Very COOL!!!. The first sequence there were some weird rhythm sections. Even though those guys have it down, one little offbeat mistake and whamm, they are down. Very good piece GuyB.

That's what I never understand when people say Supercross isn't real racing. Making one lap at speed is tough. Making it 15 (for 250s) or 20 (for 450s) is pretty amazing. There's almost nowhere to rest, and the amount of stuff you have to hit, and the decisions you have to make during that time is just relentless.

Anyone that say's Supercross isn't real racing, isn't right in the head...

Its just that, There's nothing as brutal as an outdoor national in July....

Hey, they're not always the manicured country clubs that people think they are. Wink

Nice video but I think the quality with the Gopro camera is better.

For sure. It's the Go Pro HD for me. Good to see Short flying though. Haven't heard anything on him for a while.

Me too, the biggest complaint thou has to be the sound. It's crazy in that vid, sounds like Andrew's bike is rattling to pieces.

I'm glad to finally see pros strapping on the cams to let us see what these once top secret test tracks are like. That's definitely more frightening than any SX I've seen from the floor or ridden on.

My big wish is that people would stop putting helmet cams on just that, the helmet. While I can tell how difficult it is, you have to admit being that high up really distorts the perspective and makes jumps look like rollers. The GoPro chest mount really does it for me, brings more of the life out in the track for your average watcher who can't imagine how high and steep a triple face is.

It looks like they're riding on concrete. Falling down can't be an option on that dirt.

It won't be concrete for long. We've got rain in the forecast for next week.

Also, No surprise that they HD cam might look better...this one's not HD. But it is simple to use, and not all that expensive.

4 strokes sound like shit. The only thing that sounds worse, is a 4 stroke on a helmet cam.

Good footage though.

Trey railing that right handed rut was awesome!!! The rhythm sections were absolutely ridiculous!

How can you not like Shorty or Trey? Those dudes have skillz, and cool personalities.

Trey does some top notch goon riding. GuyB, did Trey bust out any goon laps with the camera on his helmet?

Adio was horrible, sounded like the bike was on speaker phone on a cell phone.

GUYB have you noticed that the practice tracks have not been maintained as well as they have been in the past? I don't ever recall seeing pictures of the SX tracks getting chewed up like in some of your photos. Maybe cutting corners here and there due to a smaller budget? Man hours and operationg heavy equipment isn't cheap.

Great video!

I agree with Big Lenny, in some places it looked like he was really over-revving the 450. Almost sounded like a 250...

Wow, poor quality video due to not being HD and even worse audio. Makes me glad I asked for the Gopro camera for Christmas.

Seeing that track, I understand why there are so many pre-season injuries. Landing off huge triples into baked-out ruts. Yikes. Good practice though, I guess.
