 Here is my completed 2000 rm125 primal impulse bills pipe david pingree tribute. This bike is entered into the 2023 broke to built contest. As of today i made the sweet 16 , the tournament will be head to head match ups starting on 5/22

Nice find. I bought the same bike with the same hrs from a 40+ beginner. Icat helps with throttle response will make the rear tire chatter pulling & sounds like a mod engine. Red valve helps the low to mid with more mid pull still runs out clean. 03 kx hgs pipe setup for a 04. Is a Huge improvement. Off idle snap is awesome with a Ton of stronger& longer mid pull with 1,500 more rpm pull.  Very quick with power everywhere & runs clean. Short shift of scream it, so fun& easy to ride. A 23 Ktm killer

 With a twinkle in our eye, we called it the 250f Destroyer.

Together with Mitch´s 125 these machine for its time were rocketships (ahead of its time) and pushed to the limit. KYB gas-forks, white magnesium clutchcase, the cool looking carbon-radiator scoop. Was is there not to love? Perhaps one of the best 125 battles J.S with Roncada at Hangtown 2004 on the pipe.

 Mostly stock... except for a 03 KX125 pipe and silencer. And I think a 2015-ish CRf front fender and Cycra plate. Have an Airstryker to go in but haven't got around to installing.

Tyler Evans missed. Such a cool privater effort that year, and cool factor mr. Tony Berluti factory mechanic tuned for him one or two rounds when Tortelli was out, probably helping him with the engine package tricks coming over from the factory to lend a hand.

I can imagine you have some great fun stories from that great era and time, and i agree, such a tragic end.

You definitely will, hopefully sooner rather than later.. I plan to do professional photos once I get the graphics sorted— likely a short video as well.. a lot of small bits you only see with good quality photos 😎

I only have one two stroke and it's an old one and I'm not sure how kick ass it is, but she's fun.
