I hope your holiday weekend was good.

Can you please let the webmaster know that there are many Off Road related posts in moto, enough that I feel could warrant moving that sub-forum up for all to see? My hopes are that the Off Road forum will be for those that enjoy that aspect of our sport. Currently due to it being below the fold, many new comers and perhaps industry folk may not know it exists. I feel this is solidified by all the Off Road related posts which are quality, end up in the Moto-Related. Being there is no filter option they quickly get lost by the rapid nature of Moto Related posts.

Thank you for your understanding

I didn't realize there was an "off road" section. I posted my off road story in moto. I guess in reality it should have been in the off road section, although then many wouldn't have seen it.

Yo Tiki, Bishops gotta be getting a little on the cold side about now. Used to live in Gardnerville and we had a ride down to Mammoth every year that was a kick, unreal riding!! I'm working with a new website being devoloped called www.fullspeed.com. This site will basically be a motorsports clearing house where all types of racing will be covered. MX, SX, NASCAR, WORCS, GNCC, GNC, Road Racing, etc. You can go online (once it's opened) and find out where to stay at any of the above venues, what riders, drivers will be attending, rider bios. They are already affiliated with Ticket Master so you can purchase tickets to the events online, it's going to be sick, should be online around the first SX this year. I'll keep all here posted!! All the best

Tiki, I think I've seen the six or seven requests you've posted about it. I need to get Aaron on it, but he's also got a big list of other things that he's working on. Smile

GuyB,
I totally understood. I dont want to be an ass about it. I realize you guys are busy. Since I dont understand your CMS, I didn't know if it was arrows moving it up or down, or more detailed. I just want to help filter the Off Road stuff for those of like minds that enjoy a longer moto with different obstacles other than jumps. The overall goal of making VitalMX a better community with the opportunity to broaden your marketplace.

Did you have fun at Day in the Dirt?

Coyote,
Bishop is chilled now. Good stuff though. A jacket and wet dirt. The higher humidity, all the way to 25% helps keep the dust down. This year we have been exploring some great trails. Much more than just single track. More technical, rock climbs, narrow switch backs and old roads that haven't been used in a long time.

Great stuff, if you are ever on this side of the mountains, look me up. We ride from the house. Guests are always welcome.

I don't know how members with thousands of posts to not know there's other forums here.
Many things that belong in the offroad, waiting room, bazzar, etc tend to end up in the normal moto section.
It shouldnt be up the the mods, but rather the members to post in the correct place. Smile

I'm not sure what the ordering priority from top to bottom is, but agree that off road should move up and old school as well. Maybe forums that directly relate to pro sports and actual riding should top the list, then move to video/photo, then on down to nonmoto and the dungeon at the bottom.

I honestly just come directly to the moto forum. I feel like it works the way it is now.

Agree with Michael 100%. Old school gets a good amount of activity and Off Road probably would get more moved up..

All Dirt activities up first, then the remainder as he suggests sounds great.

Think most of us have done some offroad or Non MX racing; Cross Countrys, Hare Scrambles or just a good trail ride like Stoneyford, etc.

MX and SX are off-road. Oh, and could you move non-moto to the top? It would make it easier for me to find. Smile

"In my opinion" the forums should be organized by number of posts/views....

Isn't that way guyb said in his interview...that guys should use "in my opinion", instead of stating things as "facts"?
