I know it's been said over and over about how good Stewart is in the the booth....
But watching Red bud he is leaps and bounds above any other announcer.
Reading the play when when it comes to battles. Bike set up. How they react
I know the man could twist the throttle at any given time but the way he talks now makes sense that there was method to the madness about his riding style and not just a throttle twist.
I watched the MXGP last week and thought to myself how mech better the people in the booth we have.
Mxgp has one guy , Paul Malin
I bet he says “comfortable being uncomfortable.”
And? Given the choice, I pick what we have. It's not that Paul is bad, it's just what we have is better.

If the man says that on repeat he's still leaps and bounds ahead of the rest of them......
Name another announcer that can call a pass 4 corners before it happens...?
The way he called Hammakers wrist and how weak he was on the down hills, then one lap later Hampshire passes him in that exact spot on the track James was talking about earlier.
I agree with you 👍 I like Paul Malin and the fact he’s doing a job that’s normally 2-3 people is impressive , but I think it’s better with more than one
And saying with absolute certainty Sexton can jump the leap from the sketchy centre line, and following lap he sends it from there and gets right on the back fender of Masterpool.
Awesome job by JS7.
You can tell JS7 has been working hard to improve his skills in the booth.
I remember David Bailey saying how much film Stewart studied every day when he was on 125s. His motocross supercross IQ is off the charts.
Seems like he’s getting better , but when he was talking about how there wasn’t that much difference in masterpool’s bike compared to ac… a bit much.
I love James and think he’s doing a great job and will continue to improve. But dear god he says “FUStrating” and “fustrated” at least 10x every weekend. Makes me squirm.
He can say fustrated or one lineded all he wants and he's still 69 times better than Ricky.
Paul Malin is my favorite
But its the little things that we loose in supercross that Ricky and the rest of them don't talk about.....Things like lap times and line choice..... We need more of this.. Thats what James does well and doesn't rely on you just to watch the timing and scoring that doesn't work half the time
Read between the lines of what he was saying. In the 450 class it's NOT that much of a difference at the end of the day. Are there A LOT of differences? Of course, that's not what he was saying. I took it as a much more in depth version of "it's the rider and not the bike"
I don't think that applies nearly as much in the 250 class, which is why he's never brought it up for the 250's.
How many factory bikes have you rode and how many championships do you have?
Cool story. You added a lot to the thread. Thanks
Pit Row
He’s dedicated to being better. NBC has him working with professionals to be better and it’s working well… I would not of thought that he’d be as good as he’s been, but he’s killing it.
Best color analyst we've had since Bailey, but I guess we gotta get used to being "fusterated."
Cooksey says FELD "didnt know RC wasn't liked" and there's a chance DB makes it back.
roll eyes if you want, but I hope there's truth to this and JS gets more booth time.
