WSX on DAZN?

So I had a little google on how to watch yesterday (i‘m in the U.K.) and it came back with DAZN. So I signed up and downloaded the app but when I go on the schedule for tomorrow no sign of WSX? Also when I search for WSX in the app it draws a blank?

Anyone else had this issue? Am I missing anything?

Lol.

Try eurosports or 4.

If no luck u might have to sign up for wsx.tv.

I think the other rounds will be live tho. Coz lots of sports don't allow live coverage for the local area unless the game is sold out.

"Lots of sports don't allow live coverage for the local area unless the game is sold out"?

That is fucking wild, man... What sports do this, is that a US thing?

I'm not arguing at all, that concept just blows my tiny mind.

In Spain is at DAZN, I found it in the Motorsports sections, if DAZN UK has a Motorsport section search it there, if not use a VPN or try Eurosport Player

Yea I think it's called blackout policies.

2 reasons they have them.

1. If the game isn't sold out or like 80% sold the local market won't get them game.

2. Sometimes the local broadcaster will have it on. So a bigger network isn't allowed to cover the event. I think that may be the case here as dazn appears to have the other rounds live in the UK. Just not the UK round.

I'm from aus and not many sports here have it as the broadcasters pay big money to cover the games. I know they do it with cricket or they used to. But it's big in the USA. In the UK you don't have to worry coz the whole of the UK is smaller then 1 state. And your stadiums only hold 20 thousand ppl.

The Birmingham round airs live in Canada at 1:30pm Eastern on REVTV.

It's $9 USD to watch a single round on WSX.TV or $50 USD for the season.

REVTV is $4 CDN a month and they're going to air all the rounds live.

Not true villa park holds 40-45 thousand ( not saying they are for this event ) and that’s a average stadium here some hold 80 plus

No problem.

I'm not watching the first round, but I might subscribe to REVTV to watch the rest of them. Round 2 is September 30th and the only MX race that will be left to watch is MXdN on October 7th-8th.

Round 3 of WSX is on October 14th.

It's less common than it used to be.  But it's a relic from 70 years ago when owners were afraid that television broadcasts would eat into their stadium ticket sales.

Growing up in the 1980's, the Los Angeles Dodgers basically only showed their road games on TV.  Home games were radio-only.

But now that most of their money comes from TV, they don't care nearly as much about it.
