Greg, I ain't giving Biden a pass on this shit. If he did wrong I hope they throw the book at him...I really do. I consider myself a citizen above political affiliation.
Having said that...Ole Trump has been sticking his nose out his whole life...daring someone to thump it. He may have found someone willing to give it a go.
I really don't wish the man any ill will but I do wish he'd just go play golf and spend all that money before he's too old to enjoy it.
I disagreed with Reagan and both Bushes but I DID respect them. I believe they were/are good, decent men. Sorry, but I can't say the same for the Donald.
You criticized my reading comprehension earlier. I guess it’s my turn. I’m clearly not directly comparing myself to them. I’m using an example of people who could have looked at some issues our country had and said yeah that’s awful I’m out. Instead they stayed and did their part to right our country’s wrongs. If everyone just left if there were things in their country they felt needed fixed, I’m not sure where any human would ever live.
You clearly think Biden is awful and is running this country into the ground. Why haven’t you packed up and left yet?
Alright I know you guys like to say use whataboutism and say what about Biden. Let’s not do that though. Let’s isolate the Trump case on its own, as the differences between Trump and Biden have been discussed before in this very thread.
Trump was notified he had to return the documents. He returned 197 of them, and that 197 he returned, he was not indicted for or charged in any way. Upon multiple requests to return the rest, he refused. After multiple refusals, his house at Mar-A-Lago was raided and the documents were recovered. The investigation continued and a Grand Jury, made up of every day Americans summoned for jury duty, decided to indict him. Trump’s defense of this entire thing has morphed from innocence, to whataboutism, to now saying it is fine because it is a civil case not a criminal one (incorrect but his words not mine).
Given all the evidence, including audio recordings, what the documents themselves pertained, where and how he stored them, his refusal to return them, his own statements, and his own ever changing defense strategies, do you believe Trump should be indicted, arrested, and convicted for the crimes he has allegedly committed? We can talk about Biden or Clinton or whoever else later if you want. Trump here, isolated, what do you think?
Copied from three entirely separate websites, dontcha’ know!

Biden had classified documents from his time as a Senator in the 70s. Biden had no rights to those documents. This is an illegal act
He chose to improperly secure them for decades.
Biden had classified documents in an office financed and accessed by the Chinese. Again, Biden had no rights to those classified documents. This is an illegal act
biden illegally possessed classified documents and they may have been accessed by Chinese or other foreign intelligence.
Trump has rights to his documents and was in current legal negotiations over them.
Biden, no rights to classified material but illegally possessed for decades. Illegal
Trump has rights to his, was negotiating their disposition.
This points to a political persecution.
Please, this is paint by numbers, it cannot be explained any simpler.
Let’s isolate the Trump case on its own, as the differences between Trump and Biden have been discussed before in this very thread.
Trump here, isolated, what do you think?
Then all I get from you is WHAT ABOUT BIDEN!?!?!?
Learn to read and get back to me.
When I read this I was curious because I hadn’t heard about this. I tried to find information on it but couldn’t find any. Now it is being reported on.
The attorney for Trump’s co-defendant, who is reputable, said that he was told that his attempt for a DC Circuit Judge could be facilitated if he flipped on Trump.
This is highly unethical. They may have tainted their case now.
Ok, I agree that Trumps and Biden’s cases are different, but, you guessed it, for different reasons than you do. Trump had the ability to declassify, Biden did not. I’ve not kept up with everything he has said, but most experts that I’ve listened to, are still saying that.
It all stems from who you listen to. You are listening to the left, who have been making up crap for 6 years or more. They all “have proof “ that never gets seen. How many times do you keep believing them?
You seem to think that it’s great that Biden handed his docs over. How about you go rob a bank, and when the authorities show up at your door, just give them the money back, and say “it’s all good”. See how that works out.
To answer your question about Trump, show evidence that he did anything with them to hurt our country, or even make money on them. You won’t be able to find it.
Then look at the flow of money that was going to the Clinton foundation when she had a little power, and look at it now. It has pretty well dried up.
Look at Biden’s finances. He has been a govt employee for 50 years, making around 180k a year tops, till he became President. That adds up to 9M if he had no living expenses at all. How many high dollar homes does he have?
I’ve said it before. I’d rather trust a rich man that went into politics, than a politician that became rich.
When Trump ran the first time, I said to a friend that I thought it was sad that out of 330m people, He and Hillary were what we had to choose from. She was a crook, and he was a buffoon. But no way would I vote for her.
I changed my mind after I saw how good the country was doing under his leadership.
You ask why I haven’t left, since I think we are headed downhill WFO, and I posed the same question to you.
There is a huge difference between saying my country has never been great, and saying that the last 2 years we are headed downhill, and we need to change.
I know I won’t change your mind, and you know you won’t change mine, so I guess this is where we are.
If all you took from that is “whataboutism” when I explained illegal behavior and political persecution by Biden, in a way that an 8th grader could understand, you’re an idiot.
I have facts, you have chirps.
The way joe and co. have sold us out to china, and every other adversarial nation, there's no way in hell that any piece of paper Trump held on to, contained anything that would put our nation, or military, in danger.
Not to mention, cyber warfare has made paper files pointless.
We know everything about "them".
"They" know everything about us.
Anyone remember the spy balloon joe allowed to glide right over key defense locations ??
About the only thing coming out of your monotonous ramblings is a case of Long Haulers TDS. Along the same lines as NYCDA Bragg, the DOJ has driven hard to turn a process crime into a criminal case. So, you're not all that alone. But the separation seems to be that you really have no stand on, or for anything, except your antipathy for Trump. And the more you write and the longer your post get it's becoming clearer that the only one that you're trying to convince anymore is yourself.
Not to mention, cyber warfare has made paper files pointless.
Declassify everything paper then, right?
We know everything about "them".
"They" know everything about us.
Anyone remember the spy balloon joe allowed to glide right over key defense locations ??
Whats the point of a spy balloon if they already know everything? Whats the point of being upset about a spy balloon if we already know that they know?
Upset ???
The point was, nothing in that small batch of papers, was anything that wasn't widely known by other means long before it was printed out on paper.
The only ones in the dark about the subject matter are, the American people.
Who's information it actually belongs to.
Staying on point …
Basically, the DOJ has a decision to make. There is no good option.
Option 1 is they let Trump get away with it because of the fear of what could happen. The potential unrest it could cause or the violence his supporters have all but promised will come. This would send a message to the entire country that presidents are above the law and create multiple cracks throughout our entire justice system on both sides of the aisle, from the federal level to the local level. This would show that threatening of violence can and does allow you to walk free. It would show what many on both sides of the aisle already believe. That our politicians and the wealthy are not playing by the same rules as we are.
Option 2 is they continue with Trump the same as they would any other person, showing that a president is not above the law, and actions have consequences, no matter how powerful you are. This option would confirm to his supporters what they have convinced themselves is true. That he’s a target of political persecution and if they can get him, they’re coming after everyone else next. The self fulfilling prophecy as they call it. Trump has set it up this way from the beginning. If he’s found not guilty or they don’t even try, then he was clearly innocent all along and the mere thought of him doing anything wrong makes you an idiot. If they continue with it, and if he’s found guilty, then it’s a political persecution that they had planned all along, and they’re clearly coming for you next. If they can take him down they can take anyone down.
You asked multiple questions. It’s dick to do that and then claim you didn’t answer the question.
Which one?
There is no decision to make.
TDS = dogma.
They went with option one in the OJ Simpson murder trial. So let's see if they do it again.
Dear God, somebody show this clown how to use the space bar, and at least form up paragraphs.
Not that it will change his broken record rants.
Pit Row
Sounds like you grew up a privileged rich kid, and didn't have to struggle for much. . .
You are entitled to your opinion, just like others here.
I don't understand your desire to stir up controversy and dissent every...damn...day.
Some of us don't care to argue your points, because we know your mind is made up and will not change.
Why can't you see the same?
It's obnoxious dude . . . trollish
I'm wondering your age? You have a wonderful life in a paradise with a beautiful wife and children. Your air and water is fresh and clean. . . that is a great thing.
Why do you have to be the Alpha here and shove this shit down everyone's throat?
That is weird behavior man. . .
And one more thing man...... there are people here on this board today, battling Cancer.
There are people here today on this board with diabetes and other life threatening diseases . . . .do you value their lives and opinions?
Im glad your kids are healthy, some of our guys on here are not.
So ease up with that shit. . .
Life is a bitch for a lot of people, glad it's perfect for you . . . .
He'll never be the alpha.
And therein lies his problem.
(Well one of them anyway)
Can’t you just picture him with his man bun, skinny jeans, Birkenstocks, and soy latte; typing feverishly in his Mom’s basement?
Fisch, I totally understand your feelings toward Trump. I actually felt that way for a while. But, I think mostly he’s just full of the New York “tough guy businessman” attitude.
But, do you consider Biden an honorable man? Just looking at his cabinet appointments (Levine and Brinton) tells me no. Then add his comments that teachers have more rights to control our kids than their parents.
I just don’t get how anyone can support that.
Was it uncouth to say? Yes. Is he right? Also, yes. Look up Audie Murphy, or Chesty Puller, those are War Heroes.
How do you feel about renaming Ft Bragg after Henry Johnson cowboy?
I think it’s bullshit to be honest with you. Hood, etc; also bullshit. The disparaging of Robert E. Lee. They are/were still American Fighting Men. They didn’t pick or decide the politics, they defended their state homes.
That’s the thing, wether you agree with the War, or not, you took an Oath, with Honor, you’re going to fight.
Let me add, Henry Johnson does deserve recognition. CMOH winner!
Rich boy know it all, gonna save the world by defeating Trump.
Wonder wtf he is gonna do when Trump is a non-issue?
Find another righteous cause to spend daddy's money on?
How about this early?
Let's build that man a brand new base, with lots of room.
Worthy of the man's name and actions?
You gonna rename an old base and call it good?
Screw that!
And McCain. . . the idiot fired a rocket on his own carrier while parked. The USS Forrestal.
I didn't say anything about it one way or another. I never served so I don't have deep insight into all the angles on matters like this. I've seen some mixed opinions on this topic, figured I'd ask DangerRanger his opinion since he did serve, and the topic of war heros came up. I never heard the story of Henry Johnson til now, I even got the base wrong, it's Fort Polk, not Bragg which was also renamed, I got mixed up.
