The absolute delusion in here is utter insanity. People here honestly think the Democrats would weaponize every single major agency against Trump to bring criminal charges against him for doing the exact same things that they do? They wouldn’t do that for the exact reason you guys are saying. When a Republican takes office, they’d be able to do the same thing back to them. Trump clearly did things way worse than what anyone else has done. As far as the “weaponizing” theory, it is extremely interesting that the FBI (with Obama, a Democrat, as POTUS) reopened their investigation on Hillary Clinton right before the 2016 election, likely swaying many voters.

It is funny how Trump at first said he did nothing wrong, but then it shifted to whataboutism. Look at Biden and Obama and Clinton! If I were on trial for murder, and I maintained my innocence for a period of time, but as more evidence started coming out, I shifted my position from innocence to, “What about OJ Simpson!? He’s walking free!” Then I’d imagine everyone would correctly believe that I’m guilty as fuck.

Why you guys continue to follow THIS MAN is beyond me. I’m not talking about having conservative views or identifying as a Republican. I’m talking about still, in June of 2023, believing Trump is amazing and still following him as your guy to be POTUS. It’s beyond comprehensible.

You haven’t heard it because it hasn’t happened. There are a few ‘news sites’ with headlines that say that Trump wouldn’t/shouldn’t take a plea deal if offered, but there doesn’t appear to be any evidence that the prosecution has offered any deal. At least as far as the case dealing with the classified documents, anyway. Perhaps the New York case may have a deal offer.

It’s bizarre to think that you have to specify which criminal case you are referring to, or which of the 60ish criminal counts brought……

It’s a theory..,but this article says, if real, it would have to come from the defense so as not to imply that the DOJ just doesn’t want Trump to run.  So probably not going to happen…Trump will ride this to prison…or many he’ll somehow manage to get re-elected in time to pardon himself?

I wonder if he ever regrets running for POTUS?  His life was pretty good prior to pissing off all of his (former) liberal friends…now he’s facing prison time and is hated by about 50% of the country.

So a hypothetical question from a talking head on the news turns into a “fact” that someone posts. Others read the comment, think “wow, if that’s true, that’s crazy”, do no research of their own, then parrot this false fact to others elsewhere, and the cycle continues.

This is why I try not to waste my time with politics these days. People read headlines that confirm their bias, spew the bullshit elsewhere and change the topic when asked to explain themselves. Why admit you’re wrong at that point, people have read your bullshit already, confirming their own biases. Job done!

All you liberals that have fabricated stories for the last 6 years have lost all credibility and have no place talking about what facts are. Your shitty stories that were played on every lame stream news every day that was told "as fact" tells us your opinion has less than zero value. So why don't you just go back to peddling your pee pee tape hoax.

I’m as conservative as they come and I don’t get the Trump love either.

most people in my sphere of influence don’t like him, don’t plan to vote for him in the primary…but would likely hold their nose and vote for him in the general because the other alternative (the left-Biden) has completely gone off their rocker.  I honestly don’t know what I would do…

But I do think the DNC is delusional enough to think they can prosecute Trump and get away with their own similar misdeeds…because, well, they have for decades and decades, and they feel confident (thanks to the eco chamber they live in) that they’ll never lose power in DC to give the GOP an opportunity to return the favor.

More “back-in-my-day” shit, more trans talk, more distractions. Stick to the topic; why did Trump allegedly have classified documents (some “concerning nuclear weaponry of the United States”) in his bathroom at Mar-A-Lago?

If you’re looking for an echo chamber where you can keep dancing around the topic, head to Twitter.

I remember 6 months ago when Biden was busted for having classified documents in his garage. I already posted the article in this very thread previously - your echo chamber must have over looked it.

Why is the DOJ investigating Biden and turning up this news report the week before mid term elections?

One of the following must be true. Which is it?

1. Biden weaponized the DOJ against himself.

2. The DOJ independently investigated each case and found that what Trump did was much worse.

Per your own article:

On Thursday, Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed former Justice Department official Robert Hur to lead the DOJ probe.

"This appointment underscores for the public the department's commitment to both independence and accountability in particularly sensitive matters, and to making decisions indisputably guided only by the facts and the law," Garland said Thursday.

Hmm … Sounds like transparency to me and a very professional look, making sure there isn’t a conflict of interest. Garland did the same with the Trump documents.

Republicans have already vowed to use their new House majority to probe Biden's handling of the classified documents and how federal agencies responded.

Good! Republicans should be all over it then. With 0 Democratic support, they’ll be able to nail Biden to the wall with their investigations! Anything turned up yet?

Trump initially resisted returning them, and his lawyers at times misled federal investigators. After months of back-and-forth between the government and Trump aides, 15 boxes of documents were returned in January 2022. According to the FBI, the boxes included 184 classified documents, including 25 marked "Top Secret," as well as others denoted with labels indicating they contained national security information, such as "FISA." But more documents still remained at Mar-a-Lago, and ultimately the FBI raided the resort in August to retrieve the rest.

By contrast, Biden's team appears to have found a smaller number of documents, and returned them to the federal government promptly.

Thank you for sharing this link so that could be cleared up. Funny how when you cooperate, there’s no need to raid your home. It’s also worth noting that, per your linked article, Trump had astronomically more classified documents than Biden did, and allegedly was much more careless with how he spoke about them and handled the overall situation.

Your logic, and many others, has more holes than Swiss cheese. We do appreciate you providing a source for us to work from though. Any time we provide a source, it’s all fake news and fabricated. So you giving us a source to work with was very helpful, because we know you wouldn’t post a link with fake news that was anti-Trump.

Ask if anyone in my household can read, then two posts later state that you (conveniently) can’t read a few paragraphs that poke holes in your “what about Biden” rebuttal. Another distraction, another fingers-in-the-ears approach to something that doesn’t confirm your biases; it’s formulaic. You dudes are on autopilot with this shit. See you at the polls brother. lol

Quite the mass outbreak of apoplexy here yesterday evening.

Including one profile stalker who's trying to make an issue out of a simple profile photo.

Perhaps the boy should put that much energy into finding a better generator for the lame ass memes he posts.

Once again, this entire indictment mini series is nothing more than a desperate attempt to keep Trump out of the presidential race.

Trump embodies a frustration shared by millions of Americans:  that our government and it entities have failed us. The DoJ throwing the book at him while others avoid charges incenses those who feel their rights have been indirectly violated.  Most of these posts are less about Trump the person and more about Trump representing a common belief.

As a white, married, middle class veteran, I share those frustrations. I want secure borders, lower taxes, a strong military, and a “get tough” foreign policy. However I don’t believe that the election was rigged, or that a deep conspiracy lies at the heart of the DoJ, FBI, etc. So like many of you, I continue searching for that individual who can fairly represent my beliefs without routinely going off the rails. There’s gotta be somebody, right?

Hey Mister, that kind of delusional thinking is not allowed here.  Go away with your rational, sensible rhetoric. What are you, some kind of sicko. You probably like Deegan too. Weirdo

If you’re looking for an echo chamber where you can keep dancing around the topic, head to Twitter.

First, something marked classified does not mean it's still classified. Second, he was the president and has the sole authority to decide what to do with those document's status. To declassify a document does not magically make the ink go away. And as far as your tape goes. We all know Trump blusters on things. How do you know he wasn't blustering in the tape to his friends? They have not even recovered the document so they don't even know what the document was. All you have is assumptions to support your narrative. And what's your narrative? To keep Trump from running for president. We all know it. So you have no more valid questions. All you have are worthless distractions.

To your first point, the indictment consists of charges in relation to classified documents. That’s what we’re discussing here, the indictment.

To your second point, he wasn’t the president at this point, and allegedly there’s audio that reveals he was knowingly in possession of classified documents. See below, literally from the second page of the indictment:

The only thing he's guilty of is an upset victory over the shoe-in globalist-puppet Hillary and delaying the socialist agenda by 4 years. Then hurting their feelings.

Looks like they're going to take the sham justice route to "get their guy":

Start with a pre-chosen verdict: Guilty. Then reverse engineer it until they get the preferred outcome.

If these latest accusations don't stick, I'm sure there's got to be a file of some outstanding parking tickets in some cabinet somewhere.

The moral of the subway station, is that politicians in the United States have spent more on gender studies and stuffing their bank accounts, upposed to important things like infrastructure and border security. The common man suffers. Maybe if we didnt send TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS to Ukraine and Israel, we could have nicer things here - like police in schools, and cleaner streets. But no more mean tweets, right?

That's exactly why its so important to keep all government employees on a short leash so they don't get too big for their britches and start thinking they are above the law and accountability.

Edit: nice 4th gen in the picture there. 2 wheel drive, 200hp, couldn't pull a 12 ft enclosed trailer v-nose or flat front!
