Lol. The fans are the ones saying the mxgp series is harder ,easier $$. Lol. Read some posts before you get salty. If that was the case he would have moved up to the 450 class. I dont expect anything. Some of the fanboys said he would. Run the 250 class, since. The we dont race sx excuse was used. Its a public forum, dont like it scroll
Damn dude, did Vialle bang your sister or something? Why so bitter toward him? You keep throwing Deegan out there and how Tom can't beat "a kid". Vialle is only 23 so he is not some old guy as you continuously insinuate. You may be very well right and Deegan kicks his ass all season but I'm gonna give the guy a chance to establish himself before coming into this forum and acting like a total prick towards the guy.
I m using tom as an example. Because he is the current world champ that came over. Not hard to figure out, but now all the fanboys come outs the wordwork while being silent during the sx regional series. Bang my sister, what are you 12 years old. Lol.
Keep on trolling…..

It definitely shifts. From the 90s and well into the 00s, really until the early 10s, most of the top European talent would come to the US. Albertyn. Tortelli. Pichon. To give some examples. All world champions who tried their hand in the US. Now, that’s not the case at all. They focus on one discipline the entire year (MX). Their season is much more forgiving with weekends off and ample track time to dial in their setup. They’re both incredible. It truly is a shame that our sport is one of the few that doesn’t force the best in the world into the same league to constantly compete. I would love to have one or two rounds per year in the US that ran the race GP style and counted points for both series. Or even a stand alone big money MX race that alternates between US and Europe that would bring in the best of the best in the world going at it.
It’s certainly the closest thing we have to a world championship & the conditions are way more diverse then anything else out there.
I’m not bagging on the US riders, with a proper effort I’m sure we would see a US world champion. It’s just presently they arnt testing themselves in the same way GP riders are. So they just arnt reaching the same level.
Deegan beat some previous ama champs as well .....you seem ok with that lol
In sx no one expected Tom to do well , deegan has about 10 times the experience of Tom , tom is the one that's behind in sx ,deegan rode well and beat all but hunter , tom was sick and had to adapt to a new bike and format , deegan doesn't
Deegan is good and it's ok he can beat others regularly , I don't understand why you think it's unusual , herlings and ken beat everyone at like 15 years old ! Herlings made you best rider in many years look like a chump , rv looked like a chump , tom didn't look like a chump
Obvious troll post but . . . look how many MXGP rules the world fan boys couldn't resist taking a bite at the bait
😊 that's the one 👍
No I'm not 12 but I'll try to do better. Ok, damn dude, did Vialle bang your wife or something? Better?
I don't understand the confusion. On Saturday the current and two time MX2 world champion was beaten in both motos by guys that have never even won one AMA championship. Give him a chance though, he might adapt.
The one misconception with MXGP riders is that they race less, more forgiving, have more weekends off, etc.
They regularly line-up for pre-season races, national championships across Europe, the odd one-off event, in addition to MXGP. Take Herlings for example, he raced the Dutch Masters today, raced a European straight rhythm (prepare to be disappointed if you do look it up) yesterday, MXGP in France last weekend, British National Championship the weekend before that, MXGP in Spain at the start of May, etc. I don't think enough credence is given to how long a GP weekend is either. There is a reason why the Nationals went to a one day format and why a lot of GP enjoyed preferred the one day format during COVID.
As you say though, they are both incredible and it is a pity that we don't see them line up regularly across the globe. There always appears to be a rumour kicking about that MXGP and the AMA Nationals will have a crossover that'll count for points in both respective championships. I'd love to see it!
One American in here is borderline illiterate, but that doesn't stop them from running their mouth. We all appreciate your self awareness (see: lack of)
Vialle just finished 3rd in his first try in America against guys who have ridden on Pala their entire lives. Anybody that can't realize how awesome that is gets my sympathy! Although, I honestly don't believe that anyone is that stupid, even if they want to act that way.
I don't see the point in bashing Vialle, especially when we are only one race into the series, he did have a rough crash in qualifying that could easily have affected him the way he said it did. I don't see a need to think he's lying about bike set up being off initially. Tomac, for example, looked like doo doo in the opening round last year simply due to bike setup being off. He didn't even have a narly crash in qualifying to add to it.
Deegan's performance was impressive, but that says nothing about Vialle. It just says Deegan is a little badass. I would wait until we are a few rounds in before ruling Vialle out as a threat for the title. What if someone had done that regarding Tomac after round one in 22'? They'd look pretty dumb right now.
I don't agree with the noobs who claim GP riders are better, but I do think they are every bit on par with ama riders and have a slight advantage in certain conditions outdoors. I don't think track familiarity plays much of a role on the u.s. tracks, but it probably plays a small one.
I say Deegan proved himself to be legit as f very early on, and I can see him putting a spank on several guys that older and considered as contenders for the title this year, so if Vialle is over hyped then so are they. Then again, maybe they aren't over hyped and Deegan was under hyped. What if Deegan fizzles or crashes into oblivion in the next round? What if Vialle is way better than what you think and goes to kicking ass in round two? What if he keeps it up and you are stuck looking dumb from now on?
I ain't sayin Vialle is all that and I'm not saying he isn't. I'm just saying that's a two time gp champ, and there's no reason to think the issues he had at Pala were bogus excuses. If you must bag on him, I'd hold off a few rounds before doing it. You might regret it. Then again, you already have. Now you are forced to hope he does lousy from now on and that Deegan whoops him regularly. The odds are against you I believe. We will see.
I don't even know why they bother racing the whole summer. We all saw the first race and know all we need to know. Jett is Jesus Christ reborn and Deegan would go clown the MX2 class right now. Case closed
That's some funny shit right there lol.
What if you're wrong? What if Deegan is the Messiah and Jett is the anti Christ? Maybe Deegan was sent to live among us and work up to the 450 class and save us from Jett?
I think we can all agree nobody is talking in absolutes. Saying Jett was awesome on Saturday is stating the obvious. As is stating Vialle, the two time and current MX2 champ, got beat by six riders in the first moto - five of which have never won a championship, and one being a rookie, the other his junior teammate. In the second moto the current and two time world champion was beaten by two riders who had a total of one race win between the both of them and no championships outdoors. Hardly stunning and borderline embarrassing for a rider with Vialle's resume. Certainly things can change in a matter of a race or two, at this point though, doesn't seem likely does it?
Pit Row
It took Hunter 5 races to get on the podium, and it took Hunters brother 9. I think Vialle will be fine.
He must have banged yours, the way you defend him. Like i said that was funny if you are a 12 year old kid. Corny asf.
Who are. you.Calling ill, literate,
He was fine Saturday, I would say. But beating these guys now, on a consistent basis, I don't know. I think he will have a learning curve, but the fast rookies will probably learn faster won't they? Additionally with all the vets in the class that are already fast, Vialle is a podium guy sure, but wins are going to be tough to get.
I'm guessing you missed that there are ONLY 6 factory guys racing the 450 class... please though, don't let facts get in the way of your delusion....
The MX series is long with lots of motos to score points in towards the final championship points battle.
How many championships have been won by won the 1st round?
Its a long cat and mouse game and requires looking at the big picture.
LOL, you seem to have a massive chip on your shoulder. I, along with about 90% of the people posting on this topic are not "defending" Vialle as much as we are just waiting to see how things play out. I personally think he will be a threat for the top box before the summer is out but my opinion means shit. Take a break buddy, life doesn't have to be this miserable.
Naw, not at all. I love funny jokes . You are the one worried about me, as you keep responding. Adults can scroll. Try it.
Ummm, you responded first. So I guess you are the one with a thing for me. Sorry, I am married. Just kidding buddy, so don't get your little feelings in an uproar. If we ever meet, I'll buy you a case of your favorite beer. Budlight, right??
Naw, i.m good. I dont hang out with corny internet nerds. I bet your husband loves the lame jokes. See how we can both play the juvenile insult game.
Ok, I'll move along. I can see you are waaay too serious of an MX guy for a redneck like me. You enjoy that lifelong stick up your ass.
Ditto.
