But now your boy is feeling a little sick...
Goor ride by Brayton just like last year. Musquin was pumped and can't wait to go stateside. Aranda showed good potential.
Ben Coisy who had some pretty good results last year in the US has announced he is stopping his career (aged 25 I think) doesn't believe he can't make it within the US top 5 unless he makes some big sacrifices and investment. And he'll have a hard time getting a good ride in the US with the economy. He's lived his dream of racing a SX season in the US good for him! Pretty sad when you know he can score top 10 SX.

Who won Bercy ?
You’ll probably get a different answer depending on who you talk to !
The correct answer is Justin Brayton, but fans in the hall saw a representative of Yamaha France stood atop the podium on behalf of James Stewart, flanked by Greg Aranda and Marvin Musquin, with Brayton not even in sight.
But where was Stewart ?
The American was in the sick bay after complaining of stomach pains and dizziness after winning the first two stages of competition on the final day.
Unable to start the final race, the AMA champion had a big enough points lead to head off the Frenchies, but, merde, Lariviere got it all wrong !
The results computer had thrown out the wrong result with an erroneous Saturday score for Justin Brayton in the cumulative result.
The 25 year old from Iowa, runner-up on Friday and Saturday and third on Sunday after two falls, was allegedly only 4th and no-one in the organisation had noticed the obvious error amid the chaos.
20 minutes later the error was corrected – Justin Brayton was the 27th King of Bercy ... by a single point !
The final was a knockabout affair on a track whose surface was treacherously slick after three days of solid action.
Marvin Musquin, a close second to Stewart in the Superpole and the "Americano", had washed out whilst chasing down Josh Hill for the lead, Brayton was next to go and Stewart’s teammate, way off the pace for two and a half days, ripped home the race winner from Aranda.
Musquin got back to third to take the overall on the day, and Brayton came home 5th, exactly the placing he needed, albeit unknowingly, to be crowned King !
BERCY DAY 3
1 Marvin Musquin (KTM) 2-2-3
2 Josh Hill (Yamaha) 6-3-1
3 Justin Brayton (Yamaha) 3-4-5
4 Greg Aranda (Kawasaki) 4-7-2
5 Fabien Izoird (Suzuki) 5-5-4
6 James Stewart (Yamaha) 1-1-15
KING OF BERCY
1 Justin Brayton
2 James Stewart
3 Greg Aranda
everyone gets sick, from different things. but come on. this stinks worse than a 3 month old tuna in the sun.
Seriously, stop with the excuses, it is just sad really. If we add sickness to the equation then it is doubtful that two riders have ever raced "straight up" as one likely wasn't feeling 100% and that is why they lost. Silly. I like James and he is damn fast, but everyone making excuses for him seems sad.
If that's the case then Reed is a bitch for being invited to the U.S open and not showing up and racing it right? I mean we are comparing apples to oranges right?
No disrespect to Brayton he did an awesome job to win an rightfully did so and ill bet he could've beaten just about anyone that night. But...... they really did themselves in by bringing over one big name rider and not having enough for others to race. Maybe they'll rethink their strategy for next year......because James got sick he was not able to fulfill 100% of the obligations ....bet you he still got the 250 though. No disrespect to James either this is aimed at the promoters and anyone that thought I was off for bringing this up.....you can't predict something like this so it's better to diversify your field a little IN CASE something happens.
Josh rode the same bike he had all weekend. James bike got pushed away. Brayton rode great, James was supper fast and sick, and Josh rode a box stock bike and did well. Muquin is supper fast and thats about it. Quite talking crap on everyone. All of the guys had ups and down durinbg the wekeend. Bercy is a long gruelling event.
We are comparing someone who is tough as nails to someone who isn't.
I admire Chad greatly for his tenacity and grit. He's a friggin' monster.
But, having said that, I can't imagine doing anything productive with food poisoning. Alot of folks end up in the hospital on an IV from it.
How many of you folks have ridden with food poisoning? Really, I don't want to hear shit about "money being paid to be there"... That's simply bullshit. Become the best at what you do, then you can bitch about how much money you're paid to do such and such vs. someone else. My guess is most of the peanut gallery aren't even close to being the best at anything they attempt to do. It's fun to throw barbs around, but seriously!

I'm actually a huge CR fan but even I am a bit tired of the JS7 hate.
