Damn, lots of rich folks in the industry yet nobody is willing to buy Danny a van? If I was a mx company I would buy him the van but only if I could place my logo on the side. Why not have 1000 companies contribute then have 1000 logos on the van? Danny would have a van that would go down in history. My dad has a refrigerator with 1000 stickers on it and it looks way cool. Too bad those companies dont buy the beer that goes in it! HA!

Listen punk...my pops told me all about Danny and what happen. Then I heard from RacerX about him needing a van to travel to the races and schools to teach kids about safe riding. These are financially difficult times but some people still have money to give.

Magoo wants the van to go to tracks so he can stay there in the van, and give a MX school and teach safe riding. Damn magoo was fast but man he had no technic, just hammer it and hang on. Not the best way to learn how to ride!

His " technique" was obviously flawed at the '82 'Des Nations events. It looks pretty damn good right here.

DB donated a team jacket from the 1982 MXdN for Danny's van fund. It was probably the last piece of his career left in his possession. But Danny has been great to David and vise versa over the years.

Last week the jacket sold on eBay for nearly two grand ALL FOR DANNY'S VAN.

Wow.. You really have no clue what you're talking about. Danny had more style and as good of technique as any man alive. Sure he crashed hard more than any one I can think of but it wasn't for lack of technique. It was because he didn't know how to ride with in his and the bikes limitations. So I suppose in 2006 when JS was on the ground all year outdoors it was because of his technique? No, It was because (Like Magoo) JS wasn't going to settle for 2nd without trying to win and rode the bike harder than he should of. Danny got hurt allot because he pushed those POS bikes of the 70's and 80's harder then they were ever intended to be pushed. It was an awesome sight to see too. I used to watch him and dream of one day being able to do the "Magoo one handed pancake". In my eyes he started freestyle. We used to line the fences when he raced just to see what he might do next. I remember one Monday morning at Indian Dunes he showed up to test. By noon that Monday there were 200+ people out there watching him ride International. Most didn't bring there bikes. I'm confused as to why honda or anyone in the industry for that matter hasn't stepped up and covered the cost of the van for him. It makes no sense to me.

I donated what I could to the van fund. I'm not in a position to buy a van for someone, but I try and donate what I can to help those in need. IMHO, Danny seems more like the kind of guy that would like us all chipping in what we can and helping out that way rather than having some rich guy come along and buy the thing for him.
