The daytime program started at 7:00am today when the pits and fan fest opened. First timed qualifying started at 8:00am. Final timed qualifying started at 10:30am. They aren’t allowing ANY fans to take their seats in the stadium until after 11:00am. And if your tickets are in the 200s second level section, you can’t take your seats until 11:30am. The night show starts at 1:30. Until 11:00am 60% of the stadium is blocked off and inaccessible. You can’t really even catch a glimpse of the track until the stadium if fully open for the night show.

I want my money back for my tickets. My wife and our son don’t want to stand in front of the concession stands for hours doing nothing after we’ve already weaved thru the fan fest crowds. What a joke. Never paid for a Supercross race where the only part of the race you get to watch is the night show… and I’ve attended them since the end of the McGrath era. (Not to mention the $15 bucks each to get into the ‘Fan Fest’.)

Just a bunch of annoyed wives and kids standing in the halls of the stadium not being let to their stadium seats while final A group timed qualifying goes on. Guess all of us will huddle here and watch the big screen since we aren’t allowed to see the track.

During fan fest I was under the impression you could roam the stadium and sit anywhere just about and watch qualifying?? why would they not allow this?

Depends on the stadium, most have the same program but each stadium is a little different and this being a day race could impact things a little differently. Best to read all of the notes and info on each race because they will say when seating opens and other rules etc etc.

Half our fun last weekend was watching practice. I don’t care about “fan fest”. I want to see the boys ride!  I’d be pissed too!

They don’t want people to see feld watering the track to create another mudder to make the championship closer

Growing the sport…for those making fun of his post, you don’t agree that one of the best parts of attending the race in person is to watch the riders figure out the track in practice? Was always one of the best parts to talk with buddies about how we thought rhythms would play out and then see the riders first come out and try them. But when you live in CA and get to see pros every day of the week you won’t understand how cool us living in areas where we don’t have that luxury think it is to see them up close and we want to get the full experience,  not just a “night show”

Thankfully we don't have these kinds of restrictions in the state of California.

I would ask to speak to the manager, then when they arrive you should introduce your wife as “Karen”…..

Oh....we make up for it in all sorts of other restrictions.

We can't even order incandescent light bulbs anymore.

I wouldn't attend an SX that I couldn't watch practice/qualifying.

Opening the stadium requires having the food courts and security 100% in place and ready to roll. Its a day race that screws up the system’s timing.

Hell even the microphones were not working right!

Practice is part of the event for me. Quit having day races if stadiums arent able to get everything ready. I'd be fuming mad if I was there.

That's a pretty lame excuse.

They can be ready for an 12:00 football game with people in the stands to watch warm-ups.

Dude you never have anything worthwhile to contribute when you post, why don’t you just stop.

I’ve never been to a day race, but I wouldn’t automatically assume the stadium is going to let me in at 8 am. Was there nothing on your ticket about the stadium opening time?

I would be upset as well, but I would kind of expect something like this and do some research before the event.

Wow. What a fucking joke. Feld sucks. That would be the last time I ever attend a day race that’s for sure. Thank you for bringing this to all of our attention. Hope you still get to see a decent race.

What a bunch of tool baggers in the comments.  The guy has a legitimate reason to complain and the main thing is a paying customer more than likely won't show up and pay again in the future... and I highly doubt he's the only one there. Good grief.

There’s always fine print and restrictions that are vaguely implied, like looking up stadium AND event specific restrictions. Yes I’d be pissed too. WGAF about fanfest most of this board wants to see bikes in motion in practice. What a tease to be able hear but not see practice.

Atlanta was open early for their day race. I would be pissed to if I couldn’t watch practice. That’s part of what you pay for.

So why don't you tell us, how many times has your account been locked?  Four?  Five?  Six?  And how many different user names have you been through now, three?  But you honestly never learn do you?  Keep posting the same dumb shit and wading your toes into religion and politics every fucking day.  Bringing up Africa and starving children has no place in the Moto forums.  Take that shit back to Non-Moto.

A moto brother takes his family to a race and isn't allowed to watch practice or qualifying from his paid seats and your telling him to quit crying. I hope you get tax audited and ow more than your worth.

If you are in CA and are thinking about a purchase you better buy a gas Lawnmower, chainsaw, or line trimmer this year.

once inventory in the building December 31st is sold kiss them goodbye except for some very large engine sizes.

The lightbulb thing is spreading also.

I’m here in Nashville. My seat is in section 124. An end zone seat. I was making my way to my seat to watch qualifying and they were waving people away. I asked one of the ushers what the deal was and they basically said I could seat any where else except the endzone sections. Wasn’t given a reason except that’s just the way it is.

So you have entire sections just going anywhere and sitting in peoples seats. Been a few scuffles because someone is showing up to a seat they paid for and someone is seating in it because their seat is closed off.

Total shit show.
