While we're on the subject, why does just about every foreign rider that comes to the US have to spend at least one season on 125/250f bikes, even though they have proved themselves elsewhere as 250/450f riders?

Reed, Pourcel, Reardon, Moss, Metcalfe, Byrne, Rattray, Searle - all these guys (and probably others that I can't name right now) have won championships and proven themselves to be competent 250/450f riders, yet they all had spend at least one season "proving" themselves on the smaller bikes.

Because the people who sign them think that they are cherry picking a tiddler championship by doing so, sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't.They (past GP champions) should go directly to 450's IMO.

So if Marvin Musquin was heading stateside this year, you think it would be right that he goes straight up to the 450 ?

Mitch does not always look at past results when he picks riders. Look how many times Mitch has hired someone and we say.....who? Mcgrath who? Swink who? There is a very long list of Who riders that have come threw and delivered championships for PC. Mitch must look deep down into their hearts and how much they want it. Then with Mitch's guidance turns him into a winner. Mitch sees something in their drive to succeed that others dont.

Pourcel should definitely be in the 450 class. What a waste of a top 3 rider in the premier class.

really? you think he would place in front of JS, CR or RV?
C-Pour would be a top three threat in the 450 class. Every race.

Like I said someone needs to sleep it off.
I don't think Wilson is a slouch no way he is a bad dude and will be a great racer. just think some sobering up would be nice... So how did he do at the Des Nations and how did he do in his last supercross race?

Not to mention winning 7 of 8 motos on his way to 4 championships at the World Mini.

Dean definitely proved himself to be the top rider out of the A class this year.

Mitch must have been seeing through the bottom of some shot glasses when he hired Hansen. Maybe JH will improve his work ethic and attitude. Can't argue with Mitch's success rate, though.

a). This is probably the biggest, most anticipated "final rider" announcement of the year to come and ProCircuit is making the most of it.

b). This is still the biggest, most anticipated "final rider" announcement of the year and there are still "I"s to be dotted and "T"s to be crossed.

c). This is still the biggest....oh, you get my drift....and the mighty Mitch can't slam the door and is looking for money for one more rider.

No matter what...Mitch...for shitsakes...there are people out here losing weight, losing sleep, losing their marbles!!

What is the verdict.

Just so we are clear, whichever rider he picks will probably not be getting a big salary, if any salary at all, correct?

Good for Dean! The dominos will fall into place now.

Tough decision for Payton. Wilson and Bagget have lots of upside. Tickle could be a threat to win instantly on a pc bike. Morais was damn fast last year in sx.
