Could be a banner year for Honda for the AMA Outdoor championship, I think Hunter Lawrence is the favorite for the 250 AMA title and Jett Lawrence is a threat on whatever you put him on, especially after his Des Nations performance last year on the Honda 450, plus Chase Sexton was a threat also.

Tom Vialle on the 250 is a pick.

DF for 450. he will be lethal on that new bike outdoors.

Here we are again. Like I said in the last thread if jett doesn't win the title its gonna be a let down with all this hype and people saying how fast he is.

So now hunter is the favorite? Dang you guys said jett was the guy from his des nations performance.  So I guess Justin has nothing for hunter even tho he dominated him at des nations?

There is a good possibility Jett and Hunter each win outdoor championships this year..No fucking doubt this is possible.

Well I think it would be a biiiit of a stretch to conclude that because Jett won a moto in a team event in which neither CS23 nor ET3 needed to win, that he's going to consistently best them + DF14 throughout an entire season with everything on the line. 🤷‍♂️

Let's start with them both getting the overall on the same weekend b4 getting carried away with championships.

I agree. I think both getting the overall on the same weekend is almost a guarantee this season, but there's too many other proven challengers in both classes to go handing either of them the titles just yet.

I can definitely see Jett landing top-5 in the points. I think Tomac, Sexton, Ferrandis and probably Anderson have him covered, long-term.
He's definitely going to win a race, though.

Hunter is a much better bet for a title. I can see him beating Cooper if things go his way. I feel like it's kind of a now-or-never year for JC, however, and if he stays healthy he's going to make it happen.

I think some of the best ever in Motocross ( Carmichael ) and Supercross ( McGrath) can recognize special talent when they see it.  Even though it's unlikely, if any up and coming young talent could win a 450 title his rookie season, I think Jett has the best chance.  Ricky Carmichael says Jett Lawrence is one of the Top 3 ever to swing a leg over a Motocross bike.

How good is Jett? Carmichael & McGrath have high praise for the 18-year old. - YouTube
