Just saw this pop up on my feed the other day dont know much about it, curious to see if anyone tried it and how well they work?
Might save my goon ass from wearing Roll offs when its not super muddy and pulling all my tearoffs with one pull. lol

I checked out their webiste earlier today and I just don't get the product, what it does and how to use it.
its a piece of film that you stick on your lens so you can wipe with your hand instead of pulling tear offs. It sounds like the way its made dirt doesn't stick well to it so it wipes away easier.
I got some and will report back soon.
Probably a stupid question, but why not just make an entire goggle lens with the same material on it?
Haha my thought exactly. Or at least make the patch to fit the full goggle lens.
Probably cheaper on the MFG side to do the strip rather than cutting to fit all lens shapes available
As for the material, idk, I was just speculating, but I imagine the strip is cheaper than lenses and so its considered replaceable, and you can keep the lens fresher longer, which is good if you have pricey ones that are tinted or something. I might give them a try as I tend to pull all my tear offs at once or dont put enough on and have to wipe either way before the end of a moto, also considering trying roll offs
Bingo!
I think I'd just learn how to install tear off the right way and use those. I'm shocked how most riders I come across have no idea how to do it right (I was one of them). It makes such a huge difference in not pulling the whole stack at once.
I think this is more of a option for riders riding on tracks or trails where tear-offs are banned.
Tear offs are banned at a lot of races over here and the reason they don't do the lens is purely for cost. Doing the strip, they can install it on every google and not have to manufacture 8000 different lenses.
Tommy Searle has been using them a lot, including the entire Arenacross series and has nothing but good things to say about them. Neville Bradshaw has also been using them and giving them the thumbs up.
I'm going to give them a go on my airbrakes for MTB, where tear offs are too excessive/ unnecessary but I'd still like to see
I live in Belgium so tear offs are banned everywhere, I hate using roll offs so I tried the Armor Vision for a couple of months now. First I was a bit sceptical but man it works great!
In dry weather you don't have to wipe at all, the roost does not stick on the film.
In wet weather you only need to wipe once and its 100% clear again.
I would "assume" it is just ceramic coated. My car detailer is tying to get me to apply a film to my car.
Basically wipe on and leave to dry, it's as tough as nails and so fine a film that dirt/dust etc will not stick on the surface. Also assume a small bottle to use on our lenses would be much cheaper in the long run.
But then again I could be talking poo!
You can't find any product specifications about the materials they use yet because there is a patent pending in the UK and US.
So I think its more then just a Ceramic Coating and probably a new type of material for lenses, its also wire wool scratch resistance which you cannot achieve with just a coating.
Also its a pack of 3 lens films for 19,95 which is pretty decent if you compare it to tear offs or roll offs that you have to buy x amount per year. But it all depends on how long the lens films will last of course which is unknown at the moment.
Hello. Where can you buy it in europe?
Pit Row
I've had a set for about a month and put a new strip on a set of new lenses.I've had about 15 rides all woods riding and they work fine. 1st off. There's no issues with vision (through a second window) and your lens so to speak. You get used to it quickly. 2nd. Whenever you hit branches across your goggles it normally leaves marks that sometimes do not come out of the plastic. No marks on the so far. Seem to be decent upgrades to your lenses for what they're worth. I haven't tried them in the wet or mud yet so we'll see how that goes.
Its almost sold out everywhere, where you from?
From Estonia
I just ordered a set of their lenses for my Scott prospects. Will report back when they show up.
You can order the 50mm on their website: https://armorvision.co/products/smart-film-universal-lens-protector-50mm
It just got restocked.
i just picked up a pair at my local shop MXtires going to try them out this weekend and they are calling for Rain so we will see.
We have been using them for about a month now, and they do exactly as they say on the box. My son has ridden at 3 different tracks and not used a tear off in any of those rides and no roost sticks.
I didnt think they would work this good, but thought we would try them, even if they were on the lenses under tear offs, as a last resort if you had pulled all the tear offs, but we havent needed any.
They are available to buy in the USA from
www.thegogglezone.com
They say that the lenses they sell also have a coating and are scratch resistant. Is the strip better? More durable, or other than not having the lens for a specific frame or wanting to use a tinted or mirror lens , why not use the full lens ? I looked quick on the Armor Vission website and could not find any info on why to go with the strips over a full lens from them. I would rather run a full lens myself , if the coating or treatments are the same on both. Do roll offs work well with the strip or full lens? If the coating makes it super smooth the roll off film might want to stick. It looks like a really cool product. I would love to have a UTV windshield with that treatment.
How long does each strip last? One ride? 5, 10, 20 tear off equivalent? Life of the lens?
Look at the keefer link.
My son is switching back to rolloff since tearoffs are a no go in Belgium.
2nd ride with these lenses and with the sun he didn’t see sh#t 1st moto
Isn't the product He tested a different product though? I looked at it and the website for the company that makes it calls it a lens protector that is water repelling. The Armor Vision makes a big point of being hydrophobic . Maybe they are the same things and Armor Vision is just making bigger claims.
