Either that or he filed  and got approved TUE for adderall lol. He's definitely ADHD, no RedBull required.

You’re aware the ‘best offseason ever’ was going into the 2022 season, right? And it only lasted a handful of rounds before he was back with Aldon. Baseline fitness doesn’t go away that fast.

When your dad is a all time mtn bike champ and you train with him in Colorado, yeah it does matter.

You do not lose baseline fitness that quick, if anything having a rest and recoup could help

What you lose in fitness, you gain in ‘freshness’. Equally as important.

base fitness will remain for these well conditioned athletes. He was active all summer too, riding his smaller events, it’s not like he was at the bar drinking.

Capacity is 68,000.

Looked to be a lot more empty seats then 10k. That side stand was shut off.

What would the points look like right now if Sexton didn't have all those crashes?

I know I can't be the only one who knew what happened the moment the crowd got loud when Chase was out front.

I was there, watching Tomac and side eye-ing webb/Barcia/roczen....heard the crowd...my eyes went instantly to Sexton. Sure enough. Honestly I was gutted. I want Tomac to get the W this year, but damn I want Sexton to be a contender.

They showed how many points he's relinquished from falling this year: 27. 27 points. He's champ if he knocks that shit off.

Way happy to see Tomac back in action though.

It was way more empty than I expected. I'm absolutely not an expert people counter, but I'd say 75-80% capacity. The top decks were thin and side deck was empty.

Sexton has that little extra speed but its damn clear that he a concentration issue. It's become almost a given that he will toss it when out front.

HRC must be pulling their hair out with frustration. 27 points is a big number to have given away. He could have had a decent lead in the points by now.

Sexton has thrown away 35 points so far this season. Even if he fixed only half of those mistakes he’d have the red plate now.

How many has Tomac and the rest of the field "thrown away?"

I only recall Tomac making one unforced error and crashing while leading? And he got back up and won. Any others?

Sexton had the chance to block Barcia by launching his bike into Barcia’s line. Wonder why he didn’t?

I feel like it might be a technique/setup issue specific to Supercross. He mostly avoided the mistakes in outdoors last year, but there's definitely a correlation between Sexton on an SX track and knifing the front wheel. I think if he still had focus issues, they would've shown a lot more last summer.

His crash at A2 put him 6th overall when he was in contention for the win and at worst a 3rd, so he lost like 4-10 points there. ALso, his slide out at Arlington race 3 cost him the overall and he ended up 3rd, so you could say he lost 5 points there. Overall he's lost somewhere between 9-15 points this season from crashes, definitely not at the level of Sexton but still significant.

A few people who know more than me have said his front suspension looks too soft and I tend to agree

Technically it worked. He shot Sexton, not Tomac. I doubt he would do that to Tomac. Roczen and Sexton are fair game.

The lad feels very comfortable riding behind a man but gets nervous when in front. Very common with sheep herders in the highlands.

this couldn't help with a front flip like last night.

and btw. Sexton will keep doing Sexton things with this toy no matter what....he would hit the hay bale like he did before without training wheels lol

Nothing has been less enjoyable than pulling for him week in and week out. Fingers crossed when Jett makes the jump it’s not more of the same.

I've heard that sheep get nervous when a Aussie walks behind them and understand why Whistling....but I lost you on the lad being comfortable from riding behind a man...

It's a righteous pity that Sexton has let the points slip. I'm certain that him and his crew will get those niggling mistakes eliminated and the sooner the better.

Been supporting Tomac as its his last year but damn, a three rider battle for the title will be much more enjoyable.

There is some speculation that if Chase had managed to stay off the ground, Chase would be running the Red Plate with a sizable lead; Only way this scenario plays out is if Webb and Tomac would have made the exact same decisions (and finished in same position as they did when Sexton crashed) It's a big stretch to assume ET3 would have 3-4 race results outside the top 5 if he were down 10 or more points to Sexton. Tomac makes decision on how hard to push it in each race based on where he is in the points standings. Nobody can say how hard other riders would push it if they needed to keep pace with Sexton (under assumption he had red plate)
