Good thing I only use mine to transport and store engine fuel.

Really making an issue of a non issue, everybody uses the same fuel jugs. No cops are giving you a ticket for that.  🤦‍♂️

Yup. I get some pump-premium every now and then & I’ve never had a problem. I get some race fuel at a couple of different pumps & the same thing is true…no problem.

There is no view, beach, environment, weather, job or persons that could get me to put up with the ridiculous "laws" of California. There is a 1000 places EXACTLY like California. Thats the hilarious part that people put up with it like their isnt a place exactly like it without those "laws".

Also... "May cause cancer or reproductive harm" on a cookie wrapper.... Really Cali? Will it though?

That's why i stopped eating my reeses in the plastic. Now I take them out of the package Sad Still eating the wax paper though.

I transport my fuel in Walmart grocery bags. When it is time to pour, I just rip a small piece of the corner off the bag.

It's not gender neutral enough. It's also too confusing with Jerry and Jane cans, so CA spec'd the new gender fluid "Jackie Can". It kinda sucks though because they wont put a spout on it, because those are gendered too.

They are here in the UK, see them everywhere, even got a pouring spout for mine to be flash 😂 we have the usual 20L ones and now they make little 5L ones (1 gallon)

You joke but my friend who owns a fuel station has actually seen someone trying to do that when we had fuel shortages!   Some people, if you gave them a brain cell it would be loanly!

Well, Kenny, glad you asked! A few years ago I made this baby. Took a beer keg, removed the ball check valve and cleaned it out really well. Cut off a portion of the handle at the top so that it would pour easier. Brazed on a stainless steel bung with a cap and presto! Super strong gas can that totally seals. My gas stays fresh for months! This thing rules. It is unvented and can obviously handle the pressure. I could keep this thing in my car for a week and you would never even catch a whiff. It is awesome.

P.S. No, I did not make it because of any sort of CARB crap. I made it because I get to ride so sporadically I want my race gas to stay fresh longer.

Great approach!  I got one of VP's nozzles as well to help with splashing

FWYT for the clear win here....I actually started using these sealed metal cans with the yellow funnel for my moto van (a previous post mentioned these as well).  Turns out race fuel fumes were seeping from the garage into the passenger compartment, making it necessary to keep the window cracked all the time.  These things allow zero fumes or smell in my garage as well, which is a bonus:

Eagle UI-50-FS Red Galvanized Steel Type I Gasoline Safety Can with Funnel, 5 gallon Capacity, 13.5" Height, 12.5" Diameter,Red/Yellow: Hazardous Storage Cans: Amazon.com: Industrial & Scientific

As far as Kalifornia goes...no comment.  I grew up there, and I will always love that state, but I get sad when I go back.....

That’s a great point: I’ve had great results with the VP Race Cans when properly sealed up. I use the std black caps when transporting for long periods and switch to the spout for pouring.

At some Woke Costcos where they hire these freaks with silver dollar sized holes in their ears and face tats and purple hair, you can't use those or even a Red race fuel jug.....because they don't say approved for motor vehicle use.

I have one with a sticker I had laying around that says Sunoco Racing Fuel.

This LGBTQ fairy said "We don't sell racing fuel here, so you need an approved can".  This is the stupidity we are working with folks.

Just another reason I go to the airport.

OH. I should have added I told the freak with his greased perfecrly parted queer hair to look the other way and go help some old lady.

He literally walked over to his little shack and turned off the pump.

Not sure what point you're trying to make, but the one on the left is Pink and she's married to Carey Hart. The one on the right is Gwen Stefani and she's married to Blake Shelton.

Been using VP jugs here since 2001... I've never even been looked at for filling and transporting fuel in one.

“Don’t put gas in this gas can”! Clearly this type of over regulation is what’s causing the exodus of Califorinication.

So, totalitarianism and government overreach is okay in small doses?
