So since he’s broken his femur and is out of the MXGP hunt is there a snowballs chance in hell that he might come race some nationals or even all of them here in the states like Herlings wanted to last year?

I’d be freaking stoked if he did and I totally agree. Very underrated.

I voted "I hate polls," but I'd love to see him come over for the summer. Can you imagine an HRC team of Gasjer, Sexton and Lawrence? That's a scary amount of speed.

He loves supercross, come win at least 1 national and he is automatically in the "Supermotocross" finals!  Guessing it won't happen, but I always think these manufacturers have way more to gain having their top guys competing for a championship, even if its on the other side of the Atlantic.  Think of the buzz over here and in Europe for Honda if a guy like Gasjer came over (or KTM and Herlings last year).  Guessing the other contractual commitments are a big part of why these kinds of things are a long shot though...

If Bacon is not a choice in a poll question, it is a incomplete poll. Smile

He isn't out of the hunt in my opinion. He may not win the title this year , but there is enough time to come back, get stronger and still pull off a top 3 in points. With plates , screws and correct rehab he'll be back by round 3.  Just my opinion anyways.

HRC won’t want him battling with Jett.

Herlings was much more possible last year when you consider that KTM only had Dungey out there all season, it would’ve worked for both parties. I’m not sure HRC in the US will want to run Sexton, Jett and Gajser

It would be awesome, but like Herlings last year, if they’re not fighting fit and ready to compete at their best, they’re not going to come.

Maybe they want him to battle with Sexton so KTM doesn't inherit a #1 plate for next year? lol

If this happened, which I doubt... A lot. Imagine the internal screaming inside sexton's head. Went from only having to worry about Ferrandis, then Jett joins the mix, then Tomac backs out of retirement, then Tiga hopping in the mix. lol.

Haha. Agreed. Add bacon to EVERYTHING!

Underrated? Gasjer? Me thinks no. Dude is incredible on a motorcycle. Always has been.

Steve Ramon was underrated. Rarely did anything impressive on the bike, didn't even win very much, buuuuut... he DID win two world titles. And most people reading this are thinking "Who is Steve Ramon?"

You mean they wouldn't want Jett to get smoked by a guy who hasn't raced U.S. tracks?

Yes - it's not like he's coming over filling in for hurt riders (I hope neither gets hurt) or a weak US Honda squad.

Well my apologies to AP. I didn’t remember him being out there at all
