I'd like to see Prado get to the front and stay there, he has to have a 450 c-ship in him.    It's time.

This is one of the best GP's of the year.  Track is great , crowd is great, racing there has been great .

Just like always, i am into the SX until the GP's start ,

And a big entry, which is a massive step in the right direction

Nah, i don’t know where to put Febvre on a scale talking about his form. 100% No, had good races at hawkstone. But struggle a bit in Lierop last weekend, but it’s a sand track, but he has won in Lommel before. He need some time to get in to it i think, the same goes for 84. The blu Cru guys has a chance the 5-6 first GP’s to make a gap and run away in the overall standings. If they don’t? This thing Will be wide Open for a huge part of the season.

Years and years ago I saw a documentary about people that were sexually attracted to inanimate objects like bridges and theme park rides and I thought they were just a bunch of weirdos

Then I saw this track and found myself relating to them haha

I've heard that last moto of the day is fucken horrible though! With hidden sharp holes and shit.. First practices would have to be worth that though haha

I think that was Brazil in 2012, total mudfest. Pourcel won MX1 and Searle went 1-1 in MX2 even though he pulled off to change goggles and gloves.

That was Beto Carrero, cool track in a Brazilian theme park

We just launched our new MXGP podcast with OTOR's Adam Wheeler! Season preview is on all platforms.

I really, really enjoyed recording this. I hope that it's just as fun to listen to and that comes across!

Seewer gives funny/interesting interviews, but let’s be real here, there is absolutely no shot this guy gets a title. I feel he is being overhyped as a legit contender. In the MXGP pod, Lewis asked of the group of Herlings, Prado, Seewer, Renaux, and Febvre, who drops out from championship contention first?(or something along those lines) and I think the answer is obvious. The only guy in that group who’s not a proven champion, the only guy who hasn’t really ran out front when everyone else is healthy, Jeremy Seewer. I feel he is a lot like Barcia, blinding speed at times, he’ll be there to collect podiums when others go down, but unless all 4 of the other title guys go down with injuries he’ll finish about 5th overall…which is fine, he’s an amazing rider, but when I hear people putting him in the title conversation I just think there’s no basis for that.

I guess I have three points in reply to that...

1) From Ernee last year, he almost matched Gajser on points. That was only nine rounds, sure, but I think it means something.

2) Second in the points five times means something. I don't think he's ever been second through pure luck (apart from 2019)...

3) Is Prado better than Seewer at his peak? Probably, but that's been missing for a while. The same goes for Febvre.

Rumors says that both Renaux and Seewer especially Seewer has looked very good all offseason on the new Yamaha, I think we can have a blu cru world champion by the end of this season!

I was told that the Yamaha guys and Vlaanderen in particular were struggling with power delivery on hard pack tracks last year.

They no longer have those issues and so I'm expecting to see more of Vlaanderen at the front.

I feel like when Tim had that big of a championship lead, even if he won’t admit it, he was riding conservative. Jeremy was good to end the year, but the championship was long gone, and he still only got 3 wins. The field was weakened and there’s a couple guys who got wins last year that I highly doubt will again this year.

Getting 2nd over and over is a huge accomplishment yes, but every time it was a HUGELY distant 2nd and other major contenders went down with injury.

The last time Prado and Febvre were fully healthy in 2021, they were head and shoulders above Jeremy, firmly in the title fight. Both riders are proven champions, and Renaux is poised to get right in there with them this year.

This being a contract year for Jeremy, let’s hope he can be a legit threat all the way through. But I predict this season will be like the others, over 70 points behind the leader at least by seasons end.

Vlaanderen seems to improve every year, so who knows. But when everyone is healthy i don't expect Vlaanderen to be up front often.

I love Seewers style and all his 2nd places show he is a top rider. But to me he is a Coldenhof 2.0 as in same level but he never seems to get hurt. (He has an insane streak of consecutive gp starts).

The thing is that Gajser, Herlings Febvre &Prado all have won a recent mxgp title or were serious title contenders untill late in the season. Seewer has never shown that.

Maybe he steps it up, who knows. Would love to see it!

Very true! As Carmichael says, the harder you work the luckier you are.
