Why not start that experience now? Wouldn’t it come in handy come A1 24?

Sexton moved up outdoors and didn't do a single 450SX race. He's doing alright.

Why risk injury when he's leading the 250 SX West championship which he's paid to win.

Some observations from the heats.

Roczen and Barcia had faster times than Tomac in heat one, so his raw pace is still a little off (as it was in timed qualifying).

Sexton lost time in sector two. I wonder if it was because of going outside/outside after the sand? It looked very cool, but...

Fastest times in the whoops across both heats:

#23: 03.717
#21: 03.831
#94: 03.836
#2: 03.882
#28: 03.917
#51: 03.961
#12: 03.979
#7: 04.019
#44: 04.046

Has this break has been painfully longer than normal or just me?

Jlaw owned Dungey on 250s too how did that turn out

He got second behind Reed in 2009.  Dungey was not in that race.

If that doesn’t make you want guys to move up nothing will

At least want them to race 450s on the opposite coast. Imagine how much it would’ve helped Craig if he raced them last year while his confidence was high?

There's always a lot of downtime.

Anyone else hear hampshire say “I’m so stoned right now?”

No. But I rode much better when I was. Straight focus.

I'm sooo happy you didn't say inside/outside. Feeling a little tipsy.

I know but it must just be a combination of coming off a triple crown and not watching it on demand. That seemed like forever!

Eli 's bike must suck in the whoops. Chase .5 seconds faster is wild.

Yeah he didn't look that great in the whoops, and Eli is normally excellent in them.

Tomac was not in a position to have to be faster in the whoops.

Stew Blair and RC have more chemistry together than any of the other pairings in the last 5 years have had combined

True dat, but faster is less punishing. And Eli 11th fastest?

Rick couldn’t have picked a better place for his debut. Near home and similar soil to what he grew up on. Much easier than going to Tampa for your it.

Im sure the boys don’t like losing to him, but they will push it down and perform in the main. Christian Craig is the one I’d be worried about emotionally. One round in and RJ has already qualified and scored better than him in an actual race. He got dropped by him too.

Yikes.

Ive always been of the opinion that a three man booth is best. Especially for RC.

I really wish the camera would zoom up a lot more on the starts. No idea why they stay so far back.

I think the thing that's most noticeable is that everyone knows what racing Supercross is like. There's a certain amount of shared knowledge that comes with that. Where those three are more in tune with what the others are seeing than say, Lee Diffie and RC trying to figure out each other.
