Only $10 for all 2026 SX, MX, and SMX series.
I think they were shooting for 24 or 25. Would be really cool to see just don’t know how it would shake out.
I would think top 20 from each class qualifies to race
I would guess that as well. I’d be more interested in point payouts than anything.
I was just listening to the show and that made my jaw drop. Probably would be the greatest day of motocross racing in history.

$189.95 - $239.95
Problem is tomac will probably be gone and we will never get the race we all wanted.
Honestly just score the motos as normal and what ever overall points you get is what goes toward your championship series. Similar to our east/west shootouts
Top ten from each series will race a 3 race series. 3 different tracks with a SX track for the final round.

Sounds like a great concept to me. I hope it happens.
I came here for the Everts vs RC, Everts passed stewart standing up in the ruts, Herlings is the FMOP, Supercross isn’t moto, debate…I’ve never been more happy to be disappointed.
There are also differences in the bikes and how they are allowed to set them up, I believe in MXGP they are allowed modify the chassis, correct me if I am wrong
As evidenced by Vialle now, it kind of seems like a lot of the fastest of the Euros find their way to the States anyways. I don't think any kid grows up wanting race in Malaysia or Qatar, but a lot dream of Daytona, Red Bud, or Anaheim. Luongo is making GPs less and less desirable to race, and with the recent coalition in American MX between indoor and outdoor promoters I think the writing is on the wall, Luongo's series will not be able to compete even less at attracting skill. It's pretty bad when fair races in Oklahoma pay more purse than World Championship events. Women are scoring points in the 250 class at some races, nobody showing up to fly aways, the GPs have lost a lot of their prestige.
That narrative has been spoken for must be 15 years now, yet MXGP riders remains the fastest riders on the planet.
AMA 40 on the gate is 2 tier racing, it’s like combing the support class with the pro class.
I think it’s pretty admirable that MXGP dares to go to new markets to grow the sport, where USA mx - sx likes to keep things contained to one country. Play it safe.
And we have todays winner! Dbag of the day!
Truth hurts I guess
Pit Row
Big problem to be overcome is that AMA pays a purse but greedy Loungo keeps every penny to himself
This is a very, very real thing. There was a rumor that it would even be this year, but that was too soon and 2024 is the plan.
MXGP teams have been informed behind closed doors, I know that.
AMA pays a purse to fund the 2nd tier riders to make it a 40 gate.
MXGP riders get their pay check from the team.
I have nothing against the privateers type riders, but I’m not sure they belong on the gate with the very best in the world, like Herlings said when he came From last to first at Ironman.
Still the vast majority of talent don’t choose to go to states. Your point is proving the opposite.
From what I know, it will be run on American soil. I believe that either Budds Creek or Ironman are most likely.
The top twenty from each class/series will be seeded in. Riders will be scored as they finish, so they have to race each other.
I’ve said it before-
Let the Euros run 6 rounds of MXGP,
At the same time let America run 6 rounds of Pro Nationals,
crown a European champion & a USA champion in July.
Then run 6 rounds of a ‘World’ championship eligible to the top 20 in each championship to crown a true world champion in September/October.
if the lower placed riders cannot afford to travel, the places can be filled with wildcards.
So the AMA only agree if they can race on a AMA track.
Such a shame so many elite US riders don’t explore different terrains.
Herlings has nothing for Tomac and Sexton. Herlings gets hurt to much and the AMA races every weekend. Herlings could never race week after week for a entire summer. He needs those 3 weeks off here and there to visit hospital.
MXGP want an American Grand Prix, first of all, and the American national championship has to be run in the USA...
Come on!
No it’s not like that. Obviously there’s good money in supercross, and if a rider like Vialle feels he wants to go that route, instead of riding the most competitive 450 class, that’s up too him.
AMA 450 is not the same as MXGP 450, yes on there day a decent AMA pro will haul ass around a perfectly prepared AMA circuit, but how would that same rider fair around the French hills when it starts to rain, or the deep sand of Belgium.
AMA riders arnt tested the same, this is why they want the shoot out in US. Only chance they have.
And the top US riders should compete at a MXGP round, so each series races away.
Its a huge advantage for us to riders otherwise & prices very little in the bragging rights.
