I forgot to even mention this. Haha he couldn't even hold a prime Bubba's jock. Herling's dumbass broke his femur trying to showboat on an 85 and then got his ass kicked by slapping around the wrong sister to f with in the pits. Down with domestic violence but afraid of Supercross. Solid guy right there. Obviously you're trolling and I bit, but c'mon Mate!

Nothing to do with pro American bias, but ironically anyone who wants to compete against the best in the world comes here to do it. It's just too bad Jeffy is afraid of Supercross. Because it would be pretty fun to watch him flounder around a Supercross track all season battling to make a main from the LCQ. To be fair it would be interesting to see how he would do a full season of outdoors.

Anyone who wants to compete with the best in the world races the world championship. Because that's where the best in the world are.

The reason more Europeans go to the US than vice versa is because Europeans care so little about "the pinnacle race series of the sport" that there's no major championships over there, whereas if Americans want to race motocross they can do it in their own country.

Your comment about Herlings in supercross shows how little you know, he is possibly the most precise rider ever. Go watch videos of him riding sand and witness how perfect he is at landing in the perfect spots between the bumps. I genuinely think he'd win the supercross championship if he came over and was serious about it.

Whether it's due to him being European or his generally abrasive personality, Herlings does not get the respect he deserves.

You know what form of dirtbike racing the most "precise rider ever" would really excel at? Do I need to say it? Speaking of, why has he not come here? All the other top GP guys bounced to come race in the US as soon as possible. Respect to Cairoli for admitting he wanted nothing to do with it. Yet Tony is 10 times the rider Herlings could ever dream of being. Gajser tried and said it wasn't for him, that was Monster Energy Cup, a track that didn't even have whoops. Respect again. Go look at the guys who came here for the competition that ran through the GPs, Pichon came here and was a top 10 rider. He left and went back to Europe and went toe toe with one of the best ever in Stefan Everts. Who also never came here to race. So why hasn't the "most precise rider ever" never came here to race Supercross? I'll wait.

Also save the RV to the GP's rebuttal you probably have queued up in your back pocket. It's a known fact he only went to the GP's to fulfill the rest of his Kawasaki Monster Energy contract. Yet he still won a race being out of shape and not GAF.

We have a guy who goes by the name of Doug Henry. Who came back from multiple injuries like I don't know, a broken back to win a title. It's motocross buddy. Lot's of riders have come back from horrible injuries. Christophe Pourcel is another one who rings a bell. No one is doubting the toughness of these guys. Just wondering why a guy who could smoke a prime Bubba with his "precise" riding never even took a chance at Supercross? Just bench racing buddy relax.

What are you implying with the form of racing the most precise rider would excel at? If you're saying it's supercross, then amazing job at missing the point.

Gajser is nowhere near as precise as Herlings, and you're allowed to cherry pick Pichon but I can't point out RV. Amazing. Nevermind the fact it was a totally different era when Pichon came over and at the time the AMA riders were clearly better, unlike now.

I don't want to clog up the thread anymore than I have so I'd rather stop, but I've got all day, week, month, year, life, eternity, etc to argue how good Herlings is if you want to make another thread so this one doesn't get hijacked.

Fastest man on the planet is a term used for one rider and it aint him.

2021 Herlings beat peak Gajser and Febvre for a title despite giving up 4 motos worth of points. He was comfortably the best rider in the world in 2021 IMO. Obviously he got injured preparing for 2022 and we haven’t seen him since until this weekend so it remains to be seen if he can get back to that level

I’ve seen riders who weren’t even racing pro in the UK at the time go to the US with little SX experience and make mains in the 250 class. Supercross is not the rocket science you think it is. You’re delusional if you don’t think that Herlings, Gajser, Prado or any of the other top GP guys who decided not to go to America couldn’t be successful if they had committed to it. Different riders have different priorities.

"Peak" Gajser was injured mid season and I still think nobody in the world would have had anything for Ferrandis that year, he was crazy strong.

Anyways, the mxgp season was cool to watch that year and Herlings getting it done despite missing four motos was intense.

Yep and Stew hasn’t been FMOTP since at least 2014. Current would have to be Gajser or Tomac. Maybe by the end of this year it’s someone else.

How does riding a sand track take more precision than riding a technical Supercross track? Bulldozing through sand whoops takes more skill, then hitting stadium whoops and rhythm sections is what your saying? Either you're right this is about the FMOTP, which is definitely not a guy who finished 4th in a local British race.

Gajser was hurt for a couple of rounds at the same time Herlings was also hurt. Ferrandis was phenomenal in 2021 but I’m yet to see anyone that Herlings ‘doesn’t have anything for’ in his whole career, so I’m sticking with the 84 on this one

For a bunch of dudes that preach “don’t feed the troll”, you guys sure are feeding the troll quite a bit. Look at his avatar, ffs. He started an argument that can’t be proven one way or the other, prime Stew can’t race prime Herlings, obviously. It’s all subjective.

That being said… as an American, and because these colors don’t run, I’m obligated to state that Stew would wax Herlings every time, lol. There’s a reason the term “Stewable” was coined from his riding.

I think it's tough to say and as we saw during the mxon, there is a lot of fast guys currently and on any given day, there could be more than 5 guys that could potentially win against anyone, which is great for the sport.

And I just really dislike the self claimed FMOTP title anyways, we never heard something like that from Tomac, Gajser, Cairoli and so on when they waxxed everybody, they were always humble even if they knew.

To be fair it would be interesting to see how he would do a full season of outdoors.

Yeah, because the US races have races with only half the gates full.....oh wait.

There is no argument the US Series with SX/Outdoors is the premier series and it's also a World Championship in case you haven't noticed.

Yeah because MXGP lines up with half the field more than 10 seconds a lap off the leader.... oh wait.

There is no argument MXGP is the premier series and it is actually a world championship in case you don't know what a world championship is

Why would they want to race the American national championship when they could race their own national championship?

 55. Yes. Yikes! FBMOVT Fastest Bicycle Man On Vital Today. Thanks for trying to bring this back. Didn't work too good though.

Your head could not be further up your ass

I meant the MXGP doesn’t come to North America….a massive continent for their supposed elite championship.
