Good to see a guy who had it all but took a risk to come across the pond. Respect. He got that second place in the final moto in Arlington, does it give him the confidence to make a leap in his riding for Daytona? And will Hunter, Jo and the boys have something for him outdoors?

He’s taking the right approach I think. After running 3rd for so long at Houston I’m sure he would’ve liked some better results but the most important thing this year is that he learns and he can’t learn on the couch so it’s good to see him not making too many risks and just riding good consistent laps.

As for outdoors, I’d be surprised if he wins the title, races and overalls are a possibility for sure but it’s a tough learning curve, all the tracks will be new to him and you don’t get long to learn them. Take a look at how Marvin and Roczen did their first year outdoors as an example

He is impressive. Work in progress, but the pieces are coming together. 🏁🏁

If he’s able to learn the tracks quick (tough to do with 2 15min practices), he should be running with the best of the class.

Is anyone thinking of Vialle's first win coming up at Daytona? Would be pretty awesome.

Totally agree. He is learning SX at a very fast rate and once he gets it figured out and his confidence is there the field better watch out.

For sure. Just ask Villopoto about the difference between the two series.

If he can make it through SX healthy, I think he might be the favorite to win the outdoors

Good series strategy....stay off the ground, finish each race, get a lil stronger for the next race.

I will actually be surprised if Vialle doesn't win the 250 Outdoors title, even with this being his first year.  I agree that he may not know the tracks as well as he would like, but his pure speed sure looked fantastic in the GPs and by the second moto of each race he will have the tracks dialed in I am sure.  I expect a lot of 3-1, 4-1 overalls for him this season.

Before mxon I would have picked him for the title. But the MX2 guys didn't do that great apart from Geerts.
On the other hand the competition isn't as stiff either, especially with Jett and probably Forkner out for outdoors. Hunter is probably the favorite but he didn't even win a single overall last season I believe.

When Kenny came over he was thrown into an all-time 250 class with Tomac, Baggett, Barcia, Musquin, etc.

Tom is a bad mofo on a bike, but 250 class doesnt hold the juice as a 450 title. He could have stayed in mxgp tried that. Imo.

In an interview he stated that he was burned out on the MXGP to the point where he didn't even do the track walks pre-race anymore. He wanted to try something new and the US had what he was looking for.

Is he running his GP suspension or is it changed for outdoors. By the way I hope Dylan destroys Jett 😁

Something new is always good and favors the numbers of riders.

Let me get this straight…

A 2 Time World 250 Champion (2020 & 2022) that’s doing pretty damn good in his 1st season of Supercross…his results are progressing and he’s 7th in points after 3 rounds in his 1st season of Supercross…which he’s never really…legitimately trained for…until this season…

And some of the nay-sayers ‘round h’yar are saying he’s NOT gonna crush it…outdoors…here…at our Nationals?

Hunter is a good outdoor rider, as is Cooper, Martin, and Anstie. Several others will certainly be in the mix as well. It won't be easy for Vialle, I can honestly see Kitchen, Deegan, and Hymas surprising. It is going to be good.

Tom is doing great...  Keeping himself in 1 piece and getting decent results.  I expect him to win the outdoor title, but not run away with it.  Tom, Hunter, Cooper and Jo at the top but easily could be many different winners this year.

Well, he’s got his chassis dialed pretty damn well for SX. He’s been figuring out SX whoops. He ain’t afraid of sand. Ruts don’t bother him. He gets damn good starts. Don’t even worry about him in the rain.

Another thing: WP has all the goodies available for him. He’ll have sooooo many hours, laps, races, “starts” and straight up “time” on that bike by the time the Nationals start. One thing I’ve noticed about that kid over these last few years, if you give him enough time with a good bike and a good team that get comfortable with his set-up/race bike…he’ll be on the podium.

On the REALLY rough and worn out tracks…in the rain…in the sand…I expect him to be up front.
