The difference between Justin Barcia and Jason Anderson is that Anderson is a legit contender for the title. Barcia is at the tail end of his career and is not likely going to be a threat for the title. That should weigh on Anderson. He needs to be smart out on the track and avoid confrontations with other riders, and focus on the title. Anderson failed to capitalize on Tomac's 5th place finish, which for Tomac, is a rare thing these days. I don't think Anderson will see Tomac back in 5th all that often, so this was a complete failure on Jason's part to focus on what matters.
Ever?
Yes, he would have been right there and then crashed.

From Cole Sealy:
”I dont think JA21 made 1 clean pass in the 250’s”
Some years ago a Special Forces Officer I was friends with told me about a flight out of DC in which he was sat near some education department people and, he said they said the same thing.
- acknowledging Anderson’s and Barcia’s important roles in the supercross ecosystem.
Speaking of, where is that guy? I thought he was coming back
Only half of the Bump and Run worked.
Anytime I see Barcia on the ground puts a smile on my face. Anderson seems like the only one that will take it to him.
Remember when Anderson would take out Cole Seeley every chance he could. Everyone is all ando better knock it off or he will loose this championship. Let’s be real. This was never his championship to win. He can put in some great rides and get some wins but that’s it. I like him somewhere in the top 10 trading paint with Barcia.
Anderson pulled the same move as Hunter Lawrence, one worked out, one didn’t. If Barcia and Anderson rode outta that no one would be saying anything… everyone knows you have to run it in on Barcia, shut him down and run away. Crashing him just makes the retaliation worse.
Nobody won more races than Anderson last year.
things change...he may not win any this year.
Be honest with yourself on the reasons why.
Why?
Anderson fan here. He made a bad decision and shot himself in the foot again.
I love the comedy Anderson and Barcia bring to the table each time they get near each other .
Pit Row
He doesn’t even pass that often. His takeouts are usually defensive.
As opposed to Ando who leaves carnage in his wake while moving forward.
I’d love to see both of them be able to dial back the bone head moves and be contenders for wins if not championships. Alas, a zebra can’t change its stripes.
Come on. Tomac was riding on a bum knee for the last 5 rounds and was mailing it in for the championship. Prior to the Atlanta round (where Tomac hurt his knee), Tomac had 7 wins to Anderson's 3.
So the narrative that Anderson was just as good as Tomac and dumb decisions cost him the title is wrong. Tomac was taking him to the cleaners until ATL.
Ding ding ding....we have a winner.
👍
So what’s with the other 18 riders he beat? Bummed knees? My argument was simply that he is us front runner — not just a “top 10” guy.
I quoted a post about him being a top 10 guy. I stated he is a winner and front runner. You’re arguing against that?
No matter where they start, these two riders just seem to find each other on the track.
I asked ChatGPT the following:
Is Justin Barcia a dirty rider?
The answer:
As an AI language model, I do not have personal opinions, but I can provide information based on publicly available sources.
In the world of professional motorsports, "dirty riding" can refer to a variety of actions, such as blocking, chopping, or intentionally making contact with other riders in an aggressive or dangerous manner. There have been some allegations of this type of behavior against Justin Barcia in the past, but these claims are subjective and have been the subject of debate within the motorsports community.
It's also important to note that in professional motorsports, contact between riders is often an inevitable part of racing, and what may be perceived as "dirty" by some may simply be seen as aggressive or hard racing by others. Ultimately, opinions on this matter can vary and it's up to the individual to form their own conclusion based on the available information.
I think it’s entertaining that it just so happens to be Barcia he keeps getting into
I’m kinda glad someone is giving it to him
It looked like Anderson was bitching at Cade after the last qualifying session. He gave the double lookback after the sand corner and then looked like he was jawing at him after the finish line.
Fan here too. But it's becoming harder to root for the guy when its the same bad decisions every weekend..
Anderson seems to be blaming everyone but himself for his bone head moves out on the track … At least Barcia owns it!
Actually, Anderson was asked straight up recently about his moves and he took full ownership.
