It was a PERFECT post. Many say it was the most perfect, beautiful post. Even a canine, I like to call it a dog, would agree.
It seems now Trump has taken to attacking Desantis, who he knows is his biggest obstacle in getting the Republican nomination. Desantis hasn’t even declared for 24, and I don’t think he will. I believe he will wait till 28 after finishing his second term as Governor. In my opinion, Desantis is the only Republican that can win in 24. Republicans would be wise to jump ship on the Trump train and hop aboard the Desantis bandwagon.
I see DeSantis as the modern era politician that can pick up on the remaining Reaganites and score a lot of support for his accomplishments as governor. Also, he's got a background that's not known by many...from his education (Yale & Harvard/J.D.) to the USN (Bronze Star) ...and that's why The Donald is goin' after him...which...is a mistake.
Definitely. He’s the obvious choice. He turned the most vital purple state for Presidential Elections red. With Trump’s ego, I could see him running third party just to siphon votes off of Desantis if Desantis does run and defeats him in the primaries. Sort of a “if I can’t have it nobody can” type of mentality. Which would be a shame. Ross Perot 2.0 in that regard. Like I said though, I think Desantis waits it out for that very reason. Finish his term then declare for 28.
