Just curious what some of you guys plans are for 2024’s this fall or whenever they come out.

I’m interested to see the 2024 YZ250F.  If it gets the same treatment as the 23 model 450 may be the direction I go before I get to old.

Will be interesting to see what the green bikes look like too.  I’ve never done green but with respect to pricing they may punch above their weight.

Anybody have plans, thoughts.  Thanks Billy

I have the current gen CRF450, but I am really in between the 2024 YZ250F, 2024 YZ450F, or the 2024 KX450. I have always wanted to try the KX450 due to it winning the past few years shootouts. The new Yamahas are interesting because of the suspension, motors, and better turning now. How I wish I could just buy every one.

I want to see if KTM irons out any wrinkles from the 2023 models. Some chassis over-stiffness for some riders. Some minor TBI/TPI issues. Etc..

Will there be an all new KX450?

I am also interested in the '24 YZ250F. But I am really happy with my current one and I have it dialed. I am tempted to just freshen it up with a GYTR head and keep it. But if I do get something else, I'd probably look at the '24. Part of me still wants then new-gen YZ125 too, even though I have a '19 (which I would still keep.)

I’m with ya on wanting one of each.  If I knew my wife would kill me I would xbuy a used near new KX450 just for grins, they get good reviews that’s for sure.  I haven’t warmed up to the 23 Honda 250R in the garage just yet.  Been waiting a few weeks on a heavier rear spring to see how that works out.  Should be here tomorrow.

Either way I’ll probably do something different than the Honda when the 24’s come out.

This the year I'm finally gonna pull the trigger on a brand new 350.  Hopefully a Factory Edition 350xc with all the goodies...if not I'll go the GasGas route and use the $1,000 I save to buy a few bits for it.

2024 KTM 350 SXF … it’s my 50th Bday in July so it’s a new bike for me!!!

Anyone interested in a well taken care of 2021 350 SXF with 40 hours on it… let me know!

YZ250F is probably the most exciting 2024 release. Then the CRF450 in 2025. It’s nice to be a 250 buyer and get a sneak peak before buying, but it sucks to wait a year for the updates.

Planning on an SWM RS300R...  Something I can plate but still run some single track with.  At 60, the moto stuff is in my past.  Wink

I hope the 24 YZ250F is going to be available in good numbers.  One of the reasons I bought a 23 Honda last fall is because my dealer had one on the floor.

2024 TC-300 (if they make it). Crossing my fingers!

I know there's the KTM but man I don't like orange.

I'm seriously looking at YZ450FX, KX450X, KTM350XC and the TX300...

I've been on the Yamaha 450FX's since 2019 (on a 2021 now...waiting on the changes to make it to the FX's), and if it gets the changes the 2023 450f's got this year, that's the "most likely" bet for me (with the new air box set up, I'm a little concerned about aftermarket fuel capacity)...

I rode a 2023 350XC and TX300 and REALLY liked both of them...I'd give the 350 the slight edge just because I don't want to mix gas.  And I've always wanted to try a 350...but if I get a wild hair and want to try something drastically different, I'd get the TX300.

But I've heard such good things about the KX's...and at the price point...its always a tempting choice.

Is 2024 finally the year for an E start RMZ450? If so, I’m in! (Posted tongue in cheek)

Too cool. Enjoy!

I’ll probably end up with a ‘24 KX 450 spring of ‘25. Still on the mend from a broken ankle so I’ll be getting back into the swing of things and paying off debt this summer.

I am holding out for a 24 bike as it seems like a few bikes are getting big changes. The YZ250f and KX450 have me most interested.

No plans right now, but if Yamaha ever decides to update the YZ250… then, that.

My wish list in this order so far for 24.  I thought about buying all three based on the fact women can’t count, but they aren’t color blind.  The reason I know they can’t count is because I got away with buying high end bass fishing rods one after the other for along time.  I made sure they were all same kind and dark grey color.  But when I can home with 6 or 7 new rods that were orange …..I was busted, wife freaked out!!!!  Along with the fact I left the tags on and all were just south of 200 bucks each.  Now when I buy rods I put them in the boat.  Little harder to hide a dirt bike LOL.

Anyway here is my 2023 list for consideration.

1) Yamaha YZ250F

2) KX450

3) Husky 350F

Not a thing. Using the coin to spend it on days at the track, camping trips on the dual sport, and of course, high octane gas.
