The guy who admittedly lined up regularly at A1 not having ridden SX since Vegas the year prior, yes. He’s actually taken time to train in the off-season for the first time in years.

Is Hicks doing all the east rounds? He looks pretty good in AX.

I could see it being an epic battle between J mart and Hunter to the end. Both of them have their issues tho, so maybe the door could be open for an unlikely champion.

Lawrence is gonna be the favorite, but let’s not act like the elder Lawrence has been the model of consistency. The same could be said for Mosiman and Smith. J-Mart can’t be underestimated. All that being said this series is going to have way more drama in how it shakes out than the West.

Jo should be back id think by mid series.  A collarbone with surgery doesn't take that long.

What about the other pc guys.  Are Jett and Ryder just out until outdoors?

AJ has been putting in the work.  I have no idea where he is speed wise.  I hope he does well.

I really hope Jo can rehab fast enough to only miss the first round or two.

Ryder D hurt himself a couple of weeks ago, so he's out. Reynolds posted a riding video to Instagram last week, but based off of the comments, it doesn't look like he'll be racing SX.

Genuinely curious, did he have to skip training in years prior to run his business?

It's a collar bone. I expect him to be out for 4-5 weeks.

So he will miss these 2.

Then he should be back straight after round 2  at oakland (west). Ready for round 7 at Arlington.

No idea. I don’t think he started Moto Academy until 2016 or 2017? He admitted on his podcast that after the 2015 season he really didn’t have a training effort over the offseason.

Who will be lining up this weekend that raced the futures at A2? I haven’t seen anything official on any of them.

I'm thinking Hunter could with this title with his eyes closed. Mosiman is fast but he seldom ever keeps the rubber side down. Thrasher is hot and cold. J Mart hasn't raced in a year. Vialle?

And Hunter has shown you he doesn’t hit the ground in Supercross?

Pretty much. Only crash I really remember is his whoops crash at a3. But he was trying to battle Craig and crashed. If Craig wasn't there u woyld think that crash doesn't happen.

I recall a few more but I hope he does keep rubber side down this year.

Yes I was actually there that night. That was gnarly and set him back too far to have a real chance at the title in the end. But I think that was his only mistake the entire season right? Also, who DIDN'T crash in those whoops at A3 last year? Lol.

Marchbanks unfortunately won’t be ready for the opener. Not sure beyond that.

I'm sure there was others but nothing significant.

I remember him having a couple 1st turn crashes. And his front wheel being taken out at Atlanta. But I think they were all in 21.

But his sx crashing level hasn't been like mcadoo, hampshire, forkner, mosiman or even jett crashes a lot more.

Yes exactly. Front wheel takeout? I don't remember that. Didn't he win the east west shootout at Atlanta against Craig and his brother?

This is the crash I was thinking about.

2021 in atlanta. Mcadoo came across on the single and Hunter hit the tough block. My memory I thought he took hunters front wheel. But he didn't.

It's at 1.25
