Australia should make the podium and on paper they look real strong and should have a chance to win. . . but outside of Reed, the other guys are not that consistent - So, it's going to take some luck for Australia to win it.

Team USA has virtually dominated the MXoN in the modern era so they should not be taken lightly. USA are the defending Champs and we send some very talented riders to represent us this year

Motodude, your posts of late have not even been worth the time you took to type them.

I knew as soon as I read Rattray's interview the shit would hit the fan. What's interesting is Grant Langston (you remember him right?) said something similar while he was doing TV comentary this year.

This would be like Villopto going to Europe after winning the AMA 250 championship and saying the GP field was faster and deeper and fought harder, and then all the Americans calling bullshit on him. Well guess what...you CAN'T call bullshit on your former champion who has ridden both and is calling it like he sees it.
wonder why keep making belive that it is about the 250.........?????
never seen anyone say anything other than great championship about the ama 250.......and since rattray and searle didn't do that good it wasn't even smart to not give ama 250 the edge..........

i saw all the talk about speed and deep about the 450s.......even with major players injured in bouth sides.......and the gp riders crossing the pound proved it........

still you keep pretending it is about the 250s........wonder why...?????

and this all talk because americans bragged on gp riders, called them b class amatures and could only remember 1 or 2 names from the mx1 field......
is it so strange that we feel bad about it and show you wrong.....???????

for starters i have been to usa and can not say the same.....!!!!!!!!

and no bro.....i'm not a kid, i'm old enough to to know world history and to understand the urge of the americans to impose themselves as the greatest humans on earth....!!!!!!!
and to also understand that old tactic of consider a hater anyone who does not see that greatness..........
funny you talk about ignorance here on vital.....either you are new here or you are another of the ones who just dont want to see straight.......

so i dont buy all that bull shit about how great amerians are and their world domination......i think there are good and bad everywhere and all people that does his job good should be respected and all the fuckers should be pointed no mather where they came from............

so you say that i'm an hater.......( as i said, i know the tactic )....so be it.....ok by me cuz i will still respect the americans that by their value deserve to be respected and will not give a shit to all the fuckers that think they are so great just because they were born in a place insted of other..........

What is funny that I read from most of the euros is, how us as Americans are so hung up on our riders and blah blah blah. It is funny all the riders that have came here over the years and competed and stayed and had huge fan bases here. Then you read about past americans that did the GP thing (riders like Lackey, Laporte, Schmidt, Liles) and they all say how poorly they were treated at races. How shitty the fans were towards them purely because they were american and winnning in their back yards. Now imagine if we had been that way towards JMB, the man, Langston, etc. you guys would be whining like crazy. The fact is that euro riders are respected over here alot and have great fan bases. I can tell in most of the euro posts there is a undertone always agianst american riders for other reasons.

Yes it sucks here. No one ever migrates here to the US. Millions of people are moving in droves away from the US and to other parts of the world. We are a country with nothing to offer and the world knows it so no one wants to live here or have what we have.Whistling

Your generalizations about people prove you are a narrow minded idiot. Notice that I have not lumped all the Portuguese people into my insult because I have met some Portuguese people that were cool. You aren't one of them.

America has proven it's point at the MXdN more times than any country.

We will prove our point once again in 2 weeks.

Will we win ? Well we certainly have a good chance but anything can happen.

The difference between McCread and RileyMX is that McCread is hardcore pro-GP fan out of pride, which is understandable, while RileyMX is hardcore America hater out of hate, which is neither rational or condonable.

His posts have become nothing more than America-hating rants that have little to do with motocross and have no place here.

US has thier B team at the MXDN and still have a good chance at winning. You take any other country and put in thier B team and they would probably only be good enough for the B Final.

RV and Alessi are injured...just like Cairoli and C.Pourcel were last year. If C.Pourcel wasn't injured you would of probably come 2nd at donington park.

All this injury shit you Americans like to talk about is pointless.

You might aswell say if your auntie had balls she'd be my uncle.

If Belgium would send a B team (De Dycker, Strijbos, Van Horebeeck or Verbruggen), we still could end in the top 5.

De Dycker should be on the team but got dissed.

So i dont think Roelants, Strijbos, Van Horebeeck or Verbruggen) would have a good shot at top 5. Top 10 is even questionable due the dept of the GP talent pool Whistling

If you read the post that i replied to you'll understand why i said it.

I have nothing against Stewart at all i think he's a great rider but i'm a little puzzled how you Americans keep bringing up his name when talking about the des nations.

The US ( and maybe Belgium ) are the only countries who can afford to send a B team and still have a shot at winning.

Most countries will have trouble even qualifying for that B final with a B team. I know we do.

Heh heh heh... Didn't answer the question.

Anyone else wondering why Riley wasn't treated well in the US (if that's even the case)?

Portugal? Who else would help build your military? If the US had remained neutral we would have the mxdn match up everyone wants, US vs rest of world which happens to be Germany.

You can't expect every European to appreciate the deaths of 400,000+ American boys in order to save them from Hitler. That was over 60 years ago and I'm sure the euro kids don't pay any more attention in history class today than American kids do.
