Well yeah. I guess my point is that the top 5 Futures kids seem to have the speed to compete with the group B guys, and possibly make the night show. Obviously this is first practice and times will get faster. But Deegan would have been 9th in group A. That’s fast.

Just figured I'd throw that out there, I'm in the garage and not there! Seems they prefer some ruts.. But sometimes lap times from early sessions can be deceiving. You see it with B occasionally. I'm hoping Deegan rides east, I'm a fan.
And it has more water on it so it's slicker....again some people will never give him any credit...

Yep and it's just practice. He's got speed and he is on the right track that's for sure.
And really he's there to learn and will probably find more speed as the day/night progresses.
I think with him doing futures this season then stepping up to the big show next year with even a better bike he will certainly be a championship contender.
