They look like some kind on pit-mix. I'll try and get some pictures up tomorrow.

I only had my cell phone with me, when I took the pictures out in the desert and can not find my camera. But if nothing else.. I'll use my phone again.

I don't see how someone could sleep at night after something like that. Like Mini E said, "that good deed will come back to you someday."

You probably lost half the support you had on this thread when you mentioned that were probably a pit/mix. Traffic sure did slow down!

when raised correctly, Pit Bulls are some of the most loyal and caring dogs.

Whatever they are they sure as hell didn't deserve to be treated like that! - The same cannot be said for the F*cker(s) that did it to them.

BTW RonSKj if you feed anything a feast of puppy chow it is gonna come out the other end! (as you found out).
Best of luck finding the little guys GOOD homes - they deserve it.

So true. The whole Pit Bull stigma is probably one of the biggest misconceptions in the "dog world". I had a roomate once with a pit, it was one of the most well behaved loving dogs I have been around.

The thing that bothers me most here is if your going to leave them in the desert at least turn them loose so they have a chance don't trap them in a box! Some son of a bitch needs their balls fed to them!

Ron,
You are a hero for doing that.

Of the two strays that are my dogs now when I did find Mojo's owner I found out she too was in a box out in the Blythe desert.

Dogs are the best--it's people that SUCK!

Thank you for caring Ron ~

I volunteer with animal rescue in Ohio and agree with G-Man that people SUCK!!! But, there are alot of GREAT people out there that want to help.

And, as far as them maybe being Pittie mixes - I have worked with full grown, huge pits that are dropped off & we have no background info on them ~ they have all been great dogs, very friendly, playful and smart.

Good Luck ...

p.s. Can we see puppy pics, please Smile

What is sad is some people do that with human babies!!! I think doctors have the technology to look for psycho gene at birth and they should chemically castrate those individuals at birth so they can't reproduce!!

Good for you. I love animals.

People are unbelievable. I'm sure a simple craigslist ad would have found them homes.

that is good news,

Its is not th mix of dog it is how they are cared for and the owners, all the pits I have seen have been the best well behaved most caring dogs you could meet, including the one that showed up at my house on thanksgiving and decided to stay, lol
