I don't watch much TV and no movies or series in many many years I just don't have the attention span for it.

I'm more of a doer than a watcher

Hermit, if there were a documentary series about your life I think it would be very popular. I know I’d watch it.

Watched it twice to catch the things I missed. Fun flick.

Also, the original Knives Out is great. A much different feel but really good.

I agree.

It’s a film and not a series, but watched «Richard Jewell» on HBO the other day. It was a really good movie! I remember the whole debacle so well from the Atlanta Olympics
if you’re going to see it, check out the real guy on YT afterwards. Top notch acting!

With your off-grid lifestyle, you might be interested in the documentary Alone in the Wilderness. It was self-shot by an older gentleman by the name of Richard Proenneke. I watched it several years ago and it was really interesting.

You can watch the full 2-Part documentary HERE.
(Might have to press play a couple of times).

Dick Proenneke retired at age 50 in 1967 and decided to build his own cabin on the shore of Twin Lakes. The first summer he scouted for the best cabin site, and cut and peeled the logs he would need for his cabin. Dick Proenneke returned the next summer to finish the cabin where he lived for over 30 years. Dick filmed his adventures, and Bob Swerer later turned the film into a video so we can all watch this amazing man build his cabin by hand.

Other videos he did.

Alaska Silence & Solitude

Alaska Silence & Solitude is the follow-up to Alone in the Wilderness, filmed 20 years later. Bob Swerer and Bob Swerer Sr. visit Dick Proenneke at his famous cabin on Twin Lakes where the wildlife is still abundant and the scenery is spectacular.

You can watch it HERE.

The Frozen North

For more than 30 years a man by the name of Dick Proenneke lived alone in the Alaskan Bush. His only neighbors were the wolves and grizzly bears and his only transportation was his canoe and a good set of legs. Through the years, Dick kept written journals of daily life at Twin Lakes but would also document much of his adventure on film with his 16 mms Bolex camera. The Frozen North is Dick's own filmed account of his life alone in this "One Man's Wilderness", produced from original footage not included in "Alone in the Wilderness" or "Alaska Silence & Solitude".

You can watch it HERE.

Edit: I don't know if you're a big reader or not, but he kept a journal about his cabin build and daily life. It was turned into a book titled One Man's Wilderness. You can find it on Amazon. There's also a coffee table book titled Alone in the Wilderness, the Dick Proenneke Photo Album. You can find it directly on the website.

I don't watch a lot of shows multiple times but this show Almost Famous is on all the time and we let it play while doing chores etc a lot. Great movie imo.

“The Least Expected Day / Inside the Movistar Team”. For pro cycling fans it’s a 3 season look into the Movistar team’s campaigns in the Grand Tours.  I’m just starting season 3 and it’s been good so far.

Your Honor season 2 is really good. We thought it started today but were able to watch the first episode last night. It has a very Ozark feel to it. Bryan Cranston, Mr. White from Breaking bad

I didn't have any expectations since studios usually tend to screw things up when it comes to adapting video games into movies/shows, but IMO, they've done a great job.

I'm looking forward to the remaining 8 episodes.

I started back at the beginning of Better Call Saul because I was getting all of these videos on YouTube and I couldn't remember the timeline of all of them.  Midway through Season 5 right now.

Many scenes were just about directly from the game, looking forward to ep 2.

Just finished watching Westworld, very disappointing finish but hey ho.

Also watched the last Matrix film, utter toss, can't believe it was worse then the previous 2, but it was.

The last video game I played was Monster Jam on a PlayStation 2 when my sons were small.  So I have no reference in that way. The Last of Us started out very good with the first episode. Thanks for the recommendation, Maverick.
