Having a nice Sunday afternoon ride out in the desert near my house, when I come upon a box out in the desert, just off a dirt road. I guess it just looked out of place, so I ride up and took a look inside. Here's what I find.....

There are some fuck-up people in this world.

I rode about 10 miles back to the house, got the truck and went back for them.

Who wants a pup??

What a great deed.. they could've been eaten, or died from starvation or dehydration... or anything really! Yeah, some people on this planet have just lost it, good job Ron, that made me smile.

Wow. People never cease to amaze me.

It's unfortunate that you had to, but, it is really awesome that you did what you did. You altered your day of riding, and took on a small financial obligation, to fix some degenerates problem.

Cool story, thanks for sharing. We have heard it a million times, but it rings true. MX people are some the best out there.
Best of luck finding them homes.

What the hell is wrong with people? Why instead of giving the puppies away to people that want them (just like you are) would they decide to drop them out to be "taken care of" by the world? Hopefully you find some good homes for them

You rock!!! Unreal that someone can do that and somehow leave with no regrets. I guarantee whoever did it hasn't had a second thought about it. The person who said dirt bike people are some of the best people in the world is spot on. Guarantee it's the work of some socal tweekers.

You did good. Great job. If I didn't have 3 rescues all ready and 2 ally cats, I'd take one.... you made the M/C community proud!

My wife must ride at the same places you do! Except with her it's cats. We have spayed and neutered the whole county it seems. Good on you for doing the right thing. Hope you find good homes for them all. And here's to hoping the ones who dropped them off to die get a dose of their own medicine.

Ron

As much as there are asses out there that would leave helpless puppies, just remember you have proved the point that there is good out there also! The world is a messed up place but good deeds like this make a lot of it worthwhile. Karma is a very powerful thing... Just ask Earl Hickey Smile

Thanks for doing that, it's horrible that someone could leave them out there in a box to die.

good for you Ron. Sorry you had to deal with that.

..and just when we all start thinking there isnt alot of good in the world, all you hear and see on the news is the dark side... along comes this.

I have known MX people as a group are some of the best people in the history of man, you can not like someone at the track, they go down, everyone helps... and here is another prime example of why I know everyone in mx cares.

Thanks guy, But I think anyone of you would do the same ...

The pups (5) are all doing well. They downed about a gallon of water as soon as I got them home and had a feast of puppy chow...

Can't blame them, but they are afraid of people, (but getting better every time we go out to check on them)

I left them together in the back of my truck last night and............... I can't believe how much shit, can be produced by 5 little pups in 1 night. After about $6.00 in quarters, The bed of the truck is clean again and the pups are out back .
