Is there any truth to old blue getting held up from release due to transmission issues?
also that justin cooper was the rider this issue came to light on ?
holy battery collection start issues not at your house
Lol I had to go back and look.. i thought I had a lot for my trail cams..
I’m just not seeing anything substantially different about the front fender. Could someone use a tape measure and get some accurate info on its length? Roll the bike up to a wall, measure the gap from fender to wall. Then do the same for other bikes.

Tomac is looking for stability in his setup, look how far back the axle is.
Precious model they pitched the rear end up to get better turn in. New model turns much better which means longer axle length. I’m interested to see how Star had done with the new model setup. I watched maybe Swap moto 2 laps raw? His bike looked soft compared to Josh Hill which surprised me. But I don’t know shit so
His 2022 bikes are all set up the same way. Not saying you're wrong, just an observation though.

Mine should be showing up this month so I've been throwing together some renders. The Monster looks so much better with a blue front fender. Too bad there is no estimated ship date on fenders or plastics in general.
Yep, same as the 22
Wondered that with Tomac and the new bike. New bike is all about being better handling and less stability and wondered if he’ll be able to find a setup he likes on it. Guess we’ll see soon.
This is how I run my 19, it definitely adds to the stability and doesn't seem to hurt the turning at all. I recommend everyone try it, especially if you ride higher speed tracks/trails.
Agree, I’ve never had a bike where the handling is better with the wheel pushed to the front. My current KTM is impossible to keep the front wheel down unless the back wheel is in the back third of the slot.
Can they lengthen the swingarm with the production rules? I remember something about adding material to the frame but not removing any. Lengthening would be adding..
so looking at a stock bike and axle position it looks like they are dropping one tooth in the rear to get the wheel all the way back. Obviously they could change internal gears but for the rest of us that's how it looks like you will do it.
It really isn’t bad looking in person. Number plate still bugs me a little but front fender is actually pretty cool.
Do you think it’s one of those things that once you’re used to it everything else looks wrong?
So my buddy’s kid had his 23 YZ125 right next to it and said it looked way better to him. It looks way sleeker and when you’re sitting on the bike, it just fits.
The front fender is a purposeful appearance change. They placed the bike on a diet, and part of that process is trimming excess weight IE plastic. Look at KTM how narrow the front fender is. I bet by the end of supercross many will be saying how good looking the bike is.
The looks will grow on me. Eventually.
Pit Row
That front number plate will never grow on me, the fender looks awesome to me though. I guess you could put a 2022 fender and plate on it too if you wanted.
Xtrigs from previous years fit? Tell me youve ridden it?!
I haven’t. Picked it up last Friday and we wanted to go through it and do it everything right while it was clean. Plus it’s been raining down here. Not really looking to break her in in the mud. A-kit should be here early next week and then she’ll really be ready. If it doesn’t rain Saturday, I’m going to be tempted to ride it. I’m a little heavy for stock springs.
and yes, the x-trigs from last year work. Same with wheels and the slip on. Still waiting for the ti header to ship.
Once you switch that OEM front number plate with the Cycra one, it looks way better IMO
Picked it up today. Hopefully Saturday can ride!
Everyone’s free to do what they please but I am always dumbfounded by modding a bike to the moon before ever turning a lap on it the way it comes. Bars and grips are one thing, but the rest is beyond my understanding.
I can’t speak for other brands, but most of the times I’ve changed parts on my Yamahas over the past 10 years or so, the aftermarket part performs worse than OEM. But I’m the height, weight, and speed that these things are built for. The average joe weekend warrior. I’m sure there are some benefits in aftermarket parts for those who go faster than me
Yeah I should have included creature comforts like pegs or whatever else. But things like sprockets, clamps, engine mounts, exhausts, ECU, and so on are head scratchers to me.
I add some touches and graphics, grip, etc. to my bikes when new.
I pull all the stock parts off our new bikes and save them, if I decide to resale it looks like new.
Soon as our 23 comes in I plan to change; bars, levers, grips, tires, sprockets and chains, pegs, suspension, seat cover, and plastic if available before he ever rides it.
Talked to my dealer today in El Cajon, they are marking up 3K over msrp, then tax and license. I said no thanks. They have one on the floor.
I was there Monday and they had two at the front door with sold tags on them.
Crooks!!!!!!
