Not to stir the pot all over again, but does anyone know what actull discipline Vince received from the team or race promoter, Organization anyone? or was it just a good old pat on the back from MG and hug from Tony?, minus the injury was it just back to sawing ankles like timber for the winter in 23?
It went totally quiet as far as I’ve heard. The promotion group must approve of VFs actions, otherwise there would have been some sort of news.
Not a peep from anyone but I'd expect that Freise will be closely watched come racing time.
I'd like to see him grilled in an interview but ultimately don't think it'll ever happen.
"Friendly Freise." I thought this thread was going to be about the time you accidentally punted your riding buddy into the parking lot.

The tone I was getting from the PulpMX Show is he was "benched"
I heard from swap that the taking brayton out talk at the gate was not true. It was said 2 guys on the gate also confirmed.
So Grant Harlan lied to Brayton about it?
I mean....I wouldn't doubt Swapper I guess....we all know that if anybody is known for hard hitting journalism and not just bro-ing down the riders that it's Swapper....oh wait...ummmm.... errrr.....
This guy allegedly puts a bounty on his own teammate, then takes matters into his own hands and takes out Brayton himself while throwing away clear track in front of him and an honest chance at the title… and MotoConcepts keeps him on the roster.
And months later, instead of addressing it, there’s still no word from Friese, Genova or Alessi regarding the incident. MotoConcepts even turned comments off on IG to bury their heads in the sand about it.
Still feel bad for Brayton on this one, sounds like he did a lot for the team and they didn’t stick up for him at all here. Cowards.
standard moto media response: "He won't talk about it so...."
But if he was confronted at practice, and a mic and camera jammed in his face and asked "So, did you take out Brayton or what?" he'd at least be confronted. People always downplay our sport as "it's so niche, bro - nobody outside of us cares" but that's also why our sport's media remains irrelevant - cause they won't actually dig into stories. Start with the "Yeah, but then the manufacturers will cut off their access.........." and I don't disagree but those same manufacturers depend on the media to promote their products so if someone would stand up against them, things could change.
Rant over.
It was in a podcast. They talked about it I believe it was a rider and mechanic that said it never happened. Guys on the podcast also backed it by saying you could see them all on the line. Tony and the team didn't address it because they didn't want to keep it relevant. I don't know or care either way. Just stating what has been discussed about it.
The promotion group does not hand out out penalties , the sanctioning body does , so the fim is at fault here
the team has all gone to ground , I’d like to see a journalist bring it up with them tho
Didn’t want to keep it relevant, that’s hilarious. If your rider was accused of putting a hit on another rider on your team, and it was false, you’d be quick to release a statement in an attempt to clear your rider’s name. I don’t buy that for a second.
Like I said I don't know or care. I'm not taking any sides. Just saying what had been discussed.
I know, my post was a general reply to Tony’s approach of not saying anything, not a reply to you in particular.
Friese will be back on motoconcepts Honda on a 250 on the west coast. How do y'all think he will do and will he ride a 450 at any time?
I don’t care how he does, I just don’t want to see guys hurt by his BS. And I don’t want to see his antics become acceptable, I like watching racing, not demo derby.

"You" didn't hear from swap. You heard it from a podcast that you didn't cite nor time stamp for anyone else to hear. We'll take your podcast with a grain of salt. Is it a reputable podcast? Not to say you're wrong, just comes off as hearsay.
It's like every other person on here who tries to sound like an insider that doesn't live in CA or FL. "Yea I heard through the grapevine the other day that Roczen is (insert your gossip here)" or "Yea my friend who works at a dealership in South Dakota said..." Yea, ya'll probably got the inside scoop from Walty Wanders.
Ok. It came directly from swaps mouth on the Kickstart podcast. I listened to it right after it happened so I don't have a timestamp. I also don't care if you don't believe it. I mentioned it because this was what the topic and people were asking about the team saying something.
It only took a text and I had a phone call from Tony to find out, as I wanted to know before doing the preview podcasts. It came with a thank you from him for calling and getting correct info instead of spewing rumors and guesses.
You won't see Vince on a 250. He has been sidelined by the team. When he returns to racing, it'll be at select 450 races before racing WSX for the team. Seely also will race some select 450 races and then WSX. ARod and Oldenburg are the team's 250 West riders.
Ask directly to get the facts? Radical approach!
ask someone a question directly would be great i agree, but i will agree it puts the journalist in a hard spot to ever be able to go back in the future our sport seems to be lacking a bit in that area riders cat hold grudges and journalist shouldnt be scared to ask.....but i agree would be nice to see how he reacted in a direct interview on tv.
hahaha for that situation i would have called it "friese fried femur strikes again" lol
According to the guy above, you can't get any real information because you don't live in California or Florida.
*Fiendly Freise
Does this mean that the factory Honda support that Brayton helped bring to the team left with him?
"It only took a text"
I sure gotta assume that somebody in the moto media reached out to Tony A. and others involved with the Team when the bounty was put out there, right?
at the end of the day your rite
Harlan jokingly ask Vince if he needs to take anyone out for him, Vince said Brayton. Everyone around said it was all said jokingly.
