I love mushrooms. Then again, I’ve never met food I didn’t like. Some I care for less than others………

They tasted bad in the early 80’s, fun times, deep fried is ok now.

Oooh! Good catch. Technically I should have said fungi, since I do not eat any variety of fungus, and there are many.

I won't be too harsh when I point out that you misspelled "grammar." ;-)

Looks like we are settling at 75%-25%. I bet that would be closer if there were any women on this board, thanks for everyone's input.

I love mushrooms, the taste, the texture, the variety, the weirdness of them. I call them king of the dirt foods, foods that taste like eating dirt mushrooms, radishes, beets, etc. Somebody said they are like nature's beyond meat and I agree and think that's a good thing!

If it's a good steak then salt, pepper and maybe a little butter. Ain't no fungus going to make a good steak better.

Eat that shit on your pizza.

Love all mushrooms.

I see Mushroom's Being a Liable source for ailments I used to pick/grow. And nothing was said or done but now the Vote in Colorado has changed the game.

When I discovered Plummers Mushroom farm Umbo Mushrooms | Functional Mushrooms Supplements (findyourhealthyplace.com)  back in 2018 I bought in.

Now that shrooms are voted in here In Colorado I see the market going skyward.

Just like a Medisinal pot. Get in front of it.

Now I have to go back out East and revive my Mushroom/ Asparagus plantation

One of my favorite foods. Should have brought mushrooms up in my "best meal you've ever had" thread, Morels are worth their weight in gold, shitakes on pizza either a white garlic sauce is simply the best, and 2 years ago I found a black staining polypore in the timber that was one of the most satisfying things to eat ever, very meaty texture, almost like chicken. Butter, garlic, salt is all you need!

psilocybin tastes a bit like an old smelly sock IMO, but the "bad" taste goes away after the 3 gram mark... LOL... never had the chance to try the amanita muscaria before...

Only tried shrooms once.  Halloween, sitting in an ancient Oak tree in an equally ancient graveyard in Beck Row England.  Buddy had his Gibson SG and pignose amp playing Black Sabbath.

3 guesses how that trip went...and the first two don't count.Blink

Love mushrooms but I’m unfortunately one of those people who taste dish soap when eating cilantro. Many Mexican dishes have been ruined by that foul tasting weed.
