I still would prefer more stretch in the pants but I thought they had great traction on the bike and certainly feels like they are well constructed.
Jersey was a little warm but no complaints.

I mentioned I'm a taller rider and wondered about the pant length of the size I bought. In the end it was still a good fit. They probably should include a size chart on the site.
I had also explained how I like to have hip pads attachments as I like to run those so they said they'll relay that to the team for future consideration.
How about folks realize you're supporting a fellow American company make something here and that has a cost associated to it to help put a roof over heads and food on tables etc. what's wrong about that? nothin...
Sure, we benefit heavily from outsourced manufacturing but that has negatives as well when jobs aren't on home soil and such.
We are at the rev limiter every season at FXR to try to push the boundaries of color and design.
I just don't see it (yet) - I'm sure it will come around at some point if he sticks around.
The Fox family sold the brand some time ago, no longer have anything to do with it.

Pete claimed to be pushing the envelope on performance and technology, even going so far to say he was making the gear to fill in the voids he saw with all the current gear offerings. I think that was on Pulp?
From what I've seen and read, the gear is NOT an advancement in any of those categories.
It's awesome it's all made in the USA, and it's awesome it's coming from a legend in the moto industry...so why not just sell it on those points? It's boutique gear with limited runs. People ARE buying it. So just call it what it is and keep it rolling.

Is Renen gaining any steam? Haven't heard a peep about it over the last year but I see the website is full of product. Any riders slated to wear the gear in '23?
What does Renen even mean? He should just call it Pete Fox, or PFR or something. Maybe it’s just me, but I like to know where my money is going.

I just purchased a set of gear from Renen and it’s really good looking stuff made in USA. Great interview with swap. Lots of respect for Pete. He’s hard core moto.

I have a set. Everything looks great with the gear. Very rugged looking and feeling design. The gear that I got doesn’t really address cooling…..No big deal. The big deal is THE FREAKING HUGE SPLIT THE HAPPENED AT THE CROTCHAL REGION. I maybe wore the gear 4 times before it happened. They did give me a deal on a replacement set of pants ($100 plus shipping or whereabouts) but what good is that if they only last another 4 rides?
they were super cool on the phone and all that. The lady that addressed my issue was as nice as can be and I almost feel bad about sharing this. The jerseys are like $100 with my name and number. I have two of the jerseys and they will be useless if this happens again. That’s not from getting caught on a tree or some other shit……just a couple of regular ride days. I’m 6’3” and around 195Lbs so I’m not out of the regular range that the gear should fit. Even worse…..I had to wear this for 6 motos with the cockvent since it happened in practice on a race day. I’ve been waiting for this for years…..finally I’m relevant!
