I agree a 100%. I always thought he should get a shot at the bigtime and I think he came in and delivered like a seasoned pro. Now lets get him in the SX booth too.

Well done Weege!

Ive been watching old tapes and in 94 we had Eckman,Bailey ,sometimes Johnson, sometimes Coombs and Marty Reid in the Pits. The ones in the booth had SUITS on.Even my old Motoworlds from like 86 everybodys wearing suits and Eckman is just 10x better than anybody. But ya weege did a good job.It could be better.

I agree, Weege did a great job! I'd like to see him and Bailey replace Sheheen and Fro for supercross.

He's been steller. I'm afraid Weigandt may get offered a better gig and head for greener pastures.

Good love.

Eckman was the king...still love his stuff.

I thought DC was always good as well....and Bailey.

Rodney Tomblin did a good job this last week. I missed the bike sounds though... no mic outside the tower...sounded like a hospital.

I'm not afraid of it happening, I hope it does for him.

I am also on the Weege band wagon, however i am not a Baily fan. His mono tone voice puts me to sleep and his third person style is kind of irritating as is his references to the old days. I prefer a more relevant/animated/Candian style color guy like Fro or RC or even better i love Langston when he used to show up! Weege definitely should be chosen over that Ralph guy..

I like the excitement of Weege. I respect Bailey, but as an announcer, not so much. He's just plain boring to listen to. Fro, well he just has a hard time keeping it together. Seems like he can't get the words out quick enough. I say let Holley and Weege take a shot at the big time.

Weege is excellent at calling the races and passing off to his analysts and guest commentators. He's a natural and seems like a pretty good dude.

But his one on one's interviews kinda suck. A little too nothing to say and ass kissy.

For the "growth of the sport" he's going to have to distance himself from the pits. And his carrying of Mathes through his difficult time was way too contrived and showed Racer X and MX Sports and DC in a poor light as monopolists.

As always, just sayin' and fuck you.

Actually, I think Wes Cain should get a spot for tryout. He's pretty solid.
