I'm not making the connection between Lee's death in the first season of Yellowstone and Spencer being attacked by the Leopard, which he of course must survive or he gets a shot off and doesn't even get attacked.
I'm giving 1923 the benefit of the doubt, because the first episode of all of the shows as been slow.
As far as Yellowstone, I'm really losing interest fast. It feels like the show has jumped the shark and has become a complete soap opera like Dallas or Dynasty. I know the audience ratings on Rotten Tomato have been horrible for the new season.
Yellowstone has kind of become the new Sons of Anarchy. first few seasons were really really good and then every other episode they're taking down some new cartel and just way over-blown.
Read that 1923 is going to be 2 series so maybe scope for decent storylines ( I wish 1883 had been 2 series long)
There will be a second season of 1883.

My only point was that they aren't afraid to kill off a potential main character early in the series. It has nothing to do the plot between the two series.
I agree that Yellowstone has jumped the shark somewhat. The ending of season 3 (I think) and beginning of season 4 were a bit over the top. Of course, so were many of the episodes on the first few seasons.
The new chick with Jamie will keep me tuned in, especially if there are more scenes with her in bra and panties. lol.
I thought the story line was not necessarily going to be about the Dutton's though?
The Bass Reeves story.
Anyone watched Avenue 5 yet on HBO. 2nd series recently landed, I'm enjoying it, very quickfire witty script, interesting premis.
Watched the new Avatar. It’s good. It’s long at 3 hours.
I started to check out of Yellowstone when the whole hired mercenary/meth militia shootout happened. Like someone said, it’s Sons of Anarchy 2.0. I was all in before that, even going as far as saying it’s one of the best shows I’ve watched.
I just finished season 2 of Hacks on HBO max. Really enjoyed the show. Started off a bit slow, but by the end of season 1, it really started to get good.
Yeah I've been watching it on and off. I haven't finished, but I'm into season 2 now. I like it. Witty and quick like you said. It is pretty one dimensional comedy-wise (fish out of water situations), but that's fine because it does a good job at it.
The 6th and final season of Snowfall starts on February 22nd, 2023.
Teaser trailer.
put me in the same category. I was a big fan of the show justified, but Yellowstone and even The Ozarks started to feel the same for me. I can't handle shows that have the main protaganist removed at the end of a season, just to have a bigger and badder protaganist the next season.
Just watched, Don't Worry Darling with Harry Stiles and Chris Pine. Stepford wives like.
Remember when Harry spit on Chris Pine at the premiere or what ever. They both denied it happened and claim to always be friends unless I missed something. Maybe they were talking before and Chris says the movie is not getting enough attention so how do we get to the top of the news and Harry says "I can spit on you in public" Chris laughs but doesn't take him serious then boom Harry does it but they can't say it was a stunt so they just deny it and it works perfectly. Ha
Apologies if Mr Inbetween has already been mentioned, but it's a brilliant black comedy about a enforcer/hitman. It's a few years old now but it's been gaining a lot of traction recently.
The trailer doesn't really do it justice, but it's well worth a watch!
The Chosen has been really good. It’s on Peacock app.
I'm not a stick-and-ball kind of guy, but I watched the 4-part documentary about Shaquille O'Neal titled Shaq on HBO and it was pretty interesting.
Pit Row
One of the best things to come out of Australia. Bloody love that show
Just watched the The Pale Blue Eye. It was ok. Edgar Alan Poe with kind of a headless horseman, Sherlock Holmes feel. Christian Bale
I watched Glass Onion last week. It was very good
I made it through 1.5 episodes. It just got old fast. Should have figured since I lost interest in Yellowstone after the 3rd season also.
1883 was pretty dang good though
You People out January 27th.
That looks like it will be pretty damn funny. Good to see Eddie Murphy back.
We Watched the menu on HBO today. Not bad but very weird premise and ending.
Just finished The Hatchet Wielding Hitchhiker on Netflix. I was thinking about Jason Lawrence during watching this lol.
I’m looking forward to this lol. I remember when he originally went viral. He was all over the radio show I listen to.
Watched it twice to catch the things I missed. Fun flick.
Also, the original Knives Out is great. A much different feel but really good.
Watching the trailer I feel like I already can imagine the entire story without watching the whole thing, but I'm looking forward to seeing it anyway. It looks like Eddie Murphy is having fun and I'm all about it.
I like the first one but I thought the second one was better.
