The only person who I’ve heard say anything about his progress this off-season was DV. He said he’s faster in supercross than most people think, but probably won’t win any sx races this year.
He's East coast and the day we were at team intro he looked decent. Good cornering speed in SX, rhythms were solid, whoops were rough...
In my opinion, no chance at win, I think podium would be a stretch based on his form at that intro. Depends how much improvement he makes before race time, he's got around 6-7 weeks to progress.
I reckon he will be quiet and solid, like 5-8 without any huge crashes.
Still funny to think that this was not in his plan twelve months ago.
I've never said a word on Tom since he got here. Not sure where you heard that...

Thought it was Browm but maybe someone else that said he looks surprisingly good in SX and he’s a hard worker with potential. Also said his corner speed is excellent.
Hey ML, how does Vialle looks compared to Brian Moreau before his injury? (SX only). On the eye test, who do you think is faster? -assuming you saw Moreau.
Haha, I think he was thinking of Brownie from his chat with Steve on the last episode. Get ‘em DV!
From what I remember, Moreau.
Daytona podium?
Good call. I would say likely to both that and the 250 MX championship, in spite of the fact that Hunter, Shimoda and several other youngsters are very fast.
Roan Van Der Moosdijk changed a lot of career paths..
I just hope he learns plenty and gets through supercross healthy ready for a proper tear up outdoors.
Why’s that?
Well, now that you have... what ya think of his sx skills/chances? How about outdoors, top 3 or championship contender?
I just hope he keeps it on two wheels....
Podium or better after a few races. He could be MX champ quite easily.
That’s ample time to work out whoops considering the level of support he’ll be receiving. Could be bike further bike set up required, it’s all new to him.
if he can win at places like Lommel he can work out sx whoops no problem.
If he's anything like his French predecessors (DV, Musquin, Pourcel, Pichon, Roncada, etc.) he'll be a quick study in SX. Wouldn't be surprised at all if he captures a win this season. Forget testing/preseason speed. It's helpful but not always accurate. Maybe Daytona would be the most likely candidate for a W in his rookie year.
Also remember that before he joined Red Bull KTM in MX2 he was relatively unknown. A year later he was the MX2 champ.
Outdoors...he's going to be a force. No doubt about it.
He is a quiet guy, does his talking on the track, i expect him to be decent at Sx and win outdoors. The field isnt as deep as it was when Marv and Pourcel came over IMO.
Pit Row
Lots of progress can be done from now to the first race.
if the whoops are a weakness, a world champ like him would work his tail off to improve. I think he’ll contend for wins.
Hope the guy stays safe and does not destroy himself.
Hopefully his whoop speed is better then big air tom.
I find it strange that nobody did any interviews with Vialle in the team lauch for the media. In all of the interviews from various outlets Vialle is absent.
Moosdijk is going to be a problem for jago. Stamp it.
Why the sudden change to race in US? money or tired of the decline of mxgp series? not trolling, we all know 12-15 racers in a professional series not a good look.
Moosdijk is definitely underrated... He is closer to de Wolf than some people realise, for sure.
Bemistant will be main threat .
No
Yes
Pretty sure Benistant will come to the USA in 2/3 years.
Here's one.

And it answers Dirt Dawg's question.
