Woman left All-Trans hockey game with a concussion after being body slammed by biological male

"Body Slammed" 

Incidental contact at best, nowhere near "body slammed". Accidents happen on the ice regardless of the gender identity of the players. Its hockey, you're standing on knife shoes on a slippery surface and everything around you is rock hard. 

Using this as some sort of dunk on trans athletes is a reach and a half. That said, I hope she's okay. 

My son plays full contact high school hockey, there are several girls in the league and they dish it out as much as they take it.

We had a men's team and a women's team. IMO, mixing both is asking for trouble. 

It's so silly to mix biological males with biological females in just about any sport, maybe it makes sense when they are younger, ok I can see some of that, especially in non contact type skills contests. 

This stupidity goes all the way back to Battle of the Sexes, Billie Jean King and Bobby Riggs.  Riggs, likely threw the king match because he was a known gambler, kind of con man. Cool story think they made a documentary about it.

In any event There is no doubt if you allowed pretty much any ex motocross champion in drag to race women's motocross, they would be champion for at least a decade. Men, pretending to be women should race in the men's class. Women pretending to be men and off supplemental testosterone hormone replacement therapy race women. If taking TRT you race the men.

Just to be clear, it was an 'all trans' hockey game?  So all of the participants are/were trans?  

Seems like every participant would have understood the risks involved, no?

That being said, I've had many friends receive concussions in 'all male' hockey games.  Should biological males be banned from competing in those games because of that?

All trans league huh ?  Well I'm not a trans but I feel I should be able to join that league or I'm being discriminated against . Of course the being 56 and sucking at hockey may be a problem also .

I made a tongue in cheek example of a top tier rider about a month back riding as a Trans. I picked one of the most unlikely riders ever. It would never fly in our sport! Men and women are different. Because you don't want to be a man anymore doesn't mean you're a woman. You're something else. Sorry, you just are. Do I care that you don't want to be a man anymore? No. I can accept you want to and do live your life differently. I can even have a friendship. But don't try and tell me you're an equal to my daughter or wife.

Just watched the vid. Wasn't a "vicious" hit but nailed her from the backside, down she went and lawn darted into the boards. But when you're that much larger you don't need that much speed because of your mass.

There is a guy that dresses up like a woman in my beer league.  He is like 6'7" though and has a wicked slapshot.

That was just incidental contact between learning skaters, not much different than what I have seen on Sunday co-ed nights.

My buddy was running a co-ed indoor soccer team and was short players one night and asked me to help.

They're hacking and shit like it means something. I finally got sick of it and had a 50-50 ball with one of these women, and she ended up on her noodle.

The whole place went "WHOA".

Fuck that, she'd been hacking me all night, and I was playing 75%.

Last co-ed game I played.

Oh, and I was a hack master if I needed to be. If she was a dude? I'd have worked him.
