Thanks to all of you who have believed in Matt. Matt said it was the happiest day of his life on the podium Saturday and he meant it. He thanked a few by name but I hope all of the people that have helped him acheive this goal in his life know that he and his family are truly thankful for all of the support throughout his career, Matt was able to be on the poduim because of you all! Family support has always been in the equation, financially and mentally even when none of us could afford it. So many others have helped in the same way and we consider you our extended family. Lou Banka family bought Matt his first race bike, the Cruz family, Valinda & John Wiemer, Frank and Mary are just a few that come to mind yet there is so many more that helped along the way and you know who you are

Matt was on the podium as a representative of all of your and your support and belief in his dream.

Thank you,
Cyndi Goerke

Decent.

Ha awesome job Matt! Keep it up fella... I had a nice talk to him at Millville after the second moto while he was chaniing in the back of the Suzuki City rig and I was loading our stuff. He asked about our trophy from the two stroke race, nice fella...

Huge congrats to Matt and your family. It was very apparent that Matt was extremely happy to be up there. I can only imagine what a great feeling it must be.

Gongrats to your whole family. I have been a fan quite some time since my son has run the same number as your boys 89.

Get use to it Mom, the way Matt has been riding the last two races, I see many more trips to the podium ahead.

Best of luck to Matt in the future he seems like a great kid.

That's what I thought was cool!

I don't know, maybe it gets a little old seeing the same crowd up top (I am not in any way saying they don't earn it). But to see the genuine excitement and happiness of someone who hasn't been up there is awesome to me. The smile and loss for words is priceless.

I know winning is infectious, and I think we'll see Matt up there again.

Congratulations to Matt and your family, This is when all that time and money pays off. It must be an awesome feeling.

Like Wiegandt said on the TV show, this week Matt was the best in the world, hopefully he can have another great day next weekend.

. ...but seriously, somebody needs to come up with a better nickname for Matt than "Beef" ...

Dear Mrs. Goerke, I met your son on one of the days out to "Eggs n' Things" with the YOT crew awhile back for breakfast. He was one of the most down to earth and grateful guys I've ever met in this business, that ride at the Pro level. Very nice guy. He deserves all he can get.

Very cool

I have heard guy's like EI Dave and Teggers say how Matt had what it took and I'm glad he stuck it out and kept working until he got there.

Sounds like Matt is one of the good guy's and I'm officially on the bandwagon.

I had the opportunity to stay down at the Goerkes during this past supercross season. In my few years of racing professionally, I have never met a family as down to earth as the Goerkes. Everyday i woke up to there little rooster crowing and came outside my motor home and it seemed like i was at home. They took me in as one of their own, from riding to fixing dinner it was the best experience of my life. The kid is absolutely by far the coolest person at his level i have ever came across. You see all these top riders who walk around like there 10ft tall and can walk on water, eat bullets, and shit ice cream. Matt is far from that, hell he has been staying in my motor home at most of these races! He has earned this ride, as well as this victory at Southwick. I look forward to seeing him up of the podium numerous times in 2010. Congrats Matt,Gary,Cindy,........and even Kyle. HAHA
