I don't think that WADA has any effect in usa Supercross or MX anymore, correct?

They don't, but there is definitely blurred lines with USADA and if a rider is banned from one the other will likely recognize it.  Also, Roczen likely has long term plans with WSX.

Imagine this.

Roczen gives up a factory ride to go race WSX.

Roczen gets tested by WADA.

Fails drug test at WSX.

Banned from WSX for 4 years.

Has no factory ride in America.

Lol

How many more times??

Roczen DID NOT ‘give up’ his factory ride to go do WSX!!

Honda offered him a huge pay-cut to continue. He considered himself to be worth more than that, so he declined to do the deal.

How much is he worth?

Im guessing not much after a dirty drug test.

They'll be shitting bricks for the next month.

Would have been better off taking the Honda deal, not racing WSX and prepping for an AMA title, Afterall that's what he's employed to do.

If he didn't take it he gave it up, but hey nice of you to stop by.

Define “better off”

rumours said, $500k for two WSX races, or $750k for the 17 US races..

Supposedly. According to Vital experts. I have nothing to say it was/wasn’t though.

I believe that Vital expert was ML though, so carried some weight.

I might be wrong.

Very curious to know what he’s being prescribed during season and out of season. The way his agent acted on this screams shady (to me) Some guys keep it real and J.A is most definitely one them, I love his comment on this.

Some meds and suplements may appear as masking agents in a test.

Not sure of the rules on positives for masking agents.

They should be all ebikes that way the series would make sense on at least 1 level.

I am just trying to think big picture here as well.  We know Kenny loves eBikes, I swear I read somewhere here that Suzuki has long term plans going electric which is why their MX lineup is stagnant for the moment, and with Kenny possibly signing with Suzuki given where they are at now, fuels that idea.  Even short term, imagine what Stark would give to have Kenny signed (I know, they probably can't afford him), he is obviously a fan of their products.

I am probably talking/thinking out of my ass, but you never know.  All of this mess just might open doors.

There is no top level race series electric bikes can be raced in currently. And it likely won’t happen until all/most of the big manufacturers have a e bike to offer. Hard to see it happening before Kenny hangs up the boots imo.

Kenny's one post about Stark doesn't make him a fan of their products, I don't think. Kenny is a honeymoon kind of guy....the next thing is always the best thing, like how he said his Genuine Honda was better than his Factory Honda.

I'm sure there are aspects he liked better, but there is so much perception and mentality-driven feel in this sport.

I hope Kenny succeeds this year, the sport is ABSOLUTELY better when he's on his game. But man so many of us are tired of the drama and outbursts, the cryptic and not-so-cryptic interviews that totally reek of knee-jerk reactions and decisions.

Kenny is one of the best to ever throw a leg over a dirt bike, but if he wasn't and was just one of the local guys, I bet 99% of the guys who defend him here would be the first to say how delusional he is.

Some of you are really in the dark, even a bit clueless if we talk about WADA. If you get suspended by WADA you can’t compete in any sport that uses the WADA Anti-Doping code.

In this fictional case this would mean: FIM & WADA ban rider A. Rider A is a full time AMA racer, but because of the fact that the AMA is one of the many national pieces creating the FIM, they couldn’t allow rider A to race in any of their series. Also because of the interference of USADA (The USA piece of WADA) in Supercross and Motocross, that would be the second reason why it’s impossible to race for this racer. It would even be impossible for rider A. to run a marathon for fun or something. Because they are all WADA controlled.

Why could Cade Clason race in Canada? Because the series he raced wasn’t organized by CMA (official Canadian FIM federation) and the Canadian WADA government wasn’t interfered too.

So to answer the question: WADA has effect on the AMA Supercross and AMA Motocross series by his American governance USADA.

Calling people out when you appear to be somewhat clueless as well.  The AMA is NOT part of the FIM, but USADA does follow the WADA code, but they are not the USA "piece" as they are their own organization.  I am guessing that includes not allowing a rider to compete if they fail a WADA test, but I am not certain of that.  The Class situation was 100% different because at that time the FIM was directly involved in SX and both SX and MX were using WADA directly.  That has all changed as of last year.

How do you mean the AMA, isn't a part of the FIM? This tells otherwise...

We have been through this in another thread.  Affiliate simply means the FIM recognizes their licenses/history to compete.....just like the Canadian series is an affiliate.....and you stated above that's why Cade went to Canada so he could compete.  AMA Pro Racing and SX dispatched the FIM a year ago.  Notice its not longer and "FIM World Championship" which is how WSX exists at all.  FIM was pissed they lost their world championship so shopped for another promoter and got the sideshow that is WSX.
