It’s rained serious last few days in the Houston Texas area. It’s going to be a while before I get to the track and I have a new scooter in the garage I want to ride. Houston’s been in a sort of drought for a while. We have flash flood warnings to night till midnight. It’s rain hard enough and long enough the tracks will be closed for a while around here for a while my best guess. The track I go too Ultimate Motocross dries out finally quickly, has a fair amount of sand but not a sand track. But with the amount we’ve received will take a while to dry out.
How bout you guys, rain/weather have have your scooters stuck in the garage.
Thanks Billy

Just kidding! This is from a few years ago but we are breaking out the sleds and parking our bikes here in CO.
I need to get going to the track out of my head. I’m retired now, I get to go to the track during the week when only a few people are out. Make a few laps, set in my chair under a tree drink a Mountain Dew or Coke, play on my phone make a few more laps. Not a bad way to spend retirement.
Monday riding before Glenn has smoothed out the braking bumps and refilled ruts is the best. Tuesday is a close second since the track is nice and smooth, but dried out. Rest of week is all about the same: dry, dusty, rough, but free of people. Saturday or Sunday afternoons are best combo of track prep and lack of people.
I “work from home” a lot so go riding when the time is right.
