Preston Boespflug isn't there either, nor Tallon Hawkins, Noah Viney, Chance Hymas, Mark Fineis, etc...

Gavin Towers isn't either, but he's hurt.

Braswell didn't want to race Mini O's, only went to get SX points. Wasn't planning on continuing the week once he got his points.

I don't think I'd go that far but I will say, he hasn't been overly impressive. I know he won 250A SX but he got a good start and the others didn't. He is no doubt talented but it looks like he is timid and holds back. Maybe he's just not comfortable on the bike yet. I'm no Deegan fan but you can tell when that gate drops, he's going for it. He wants to win and will do everything he can. You don't see that from Bennick.

when bennick goes pro he will be top 10 in supercross and top 20 outdoors and then be out the door after about a year.

Come on now, these are very young men. Nobody knows how things will turn out, but there’s no reason to be negative. I’ve seen some of that in this thread. Just think if you were their parents reading this.

He was solid at Mini O's last year in the B classes with 2nds and 3rds, won 250B at LLs this year with 4-1-3 moto scores, and just won 250A SX. I think he was 3rd in the first combine, behind Hymas and Ferry. He seems on level with his peers even if he doesn't have "flash".

After his mini bike success he was slow to take to the big bikes compared to his peers but wasn't he get injured? I agree his wins aren't dominate and I don't expect him to shake up the pro ranks upon his arrival but he isn't terrible either. Maybe he keeps progressing and makes it, maybe he ends up ground out and spit out the pro ranks; who knows?

I really don't get adults bashing on amateur kids....yesterday it was Deegan because he finished 5th (those critics have been silent today) and today it's Bennick because he finished 5th...you don't know what happened when he fell, but you're going to jump to the conclusion that he sucks....lots of jealous fools here...

I believe it was because of him being tall and having to go to big bikes earlier than he should of when he wasn’t ready

definitely being a bit blunt, but i don't think he is aggressive enough. lacks a spark that a lot of these other guys have. maybe im wrong. just what I observe. we will find out next year.

Bennick is my favorite amateur. He's reserved, doesn't need to be in the limelight. He just has that kind of personality and I dig it. Just a tick off the speed of Deegan, but that will come. Heck, the pros seem a little different in speed from year to year at times

He didn’t leave because he wasn’t “doing so great.” He left because he was there to get his SX pro points and that’s it. No reason to risk injury racing with a bunch of people that aren’t on the same level as him.

Oh man you should’ve heard the adults talking shit on Hudson Deegan when he went down in one of the turns on the SX track. “I sure am glad Brian didn’t put as much money into that kid as he did Haiden!” That was just one thing I heard. Especially after he couldn’t get the YZ85 to start kick after kick, then some said “don’t blip the throttle!!” as he was giving up and walking the bike, he then got back on it and gave it one last kick, fired right up and he took off.
