By what age? All ages? That would be a big list.
Yeah. Get to work. Laughing

If you don’t count Bradshaw winning the Tokyo SX at 16, I think Lechien is the only rider to do that.

At first I was thinking Ernesto Fonseca. Because he won six supercrosses in his rookie year, but he was already 18 at that point.

James Stewart had won 15 races in his rookie year when he was 17. I bet he is the grand champion of winning races while young. That's if I even understood the question correctly.

Question is a bit hard to understand.

Do u want to know who had the most wins when they were 16 then 17 then 18 then 19?
If that's what u want. 250 and 450.
It will be stew. Until about 21 then rc.
On there 19th or 20th bday would be an OK stat to see.

Yeah for sure. 10 out of 12 overalls in his rookie moto season. Wild.

That's what I was wondering, thanks. Can Jett close the gap to any of those guys by 20-years-old? Maybe with RV? Jett turns 20 in early August.

It really does.

Also, a great bench racing debate about James is two stroke vs four stroke. Obviously he won big on both but perhaps his skill advantage was even greater on the two stroke but the change to four stroke happened in his prime.

Good stuff. I will also add that not every rider started at the same age. So, for example, Deano had 14 moto wins and 5 overalls for his first 2 years pro while Tomac only had 1 moto win and 1 overall for his first 2 (both 2010-2011).

I'd say years pro is a better gauge than age because a lot of riders from the 2010s were older than riders previously. This is why the only riders since 2010 to win the MX title prior to the age of 20 are Canard (3rd year), Wilson (2nd year), and Jett (2nd/3rd years).

I did deano webb and baggett knowing they were successful in their teens.
But they were all successful at 19.
Age vs years pro it's hard to compare.
RV vs jett in age is almost identical. But Jett had the 16 year old rookie season that he only got 1 win. So years pro he is way behind. But In jetts rookie season was his expectation to just learn and see how it goes? Was RV to go out an immediately win?
Stats don't always show the full story.

I counted villos wrong coz he had mxon results in his results list. And I didn't add them for any1 else.
I think villo will gap Jett from 19-20 as jett is going 450 in mx. Jett and RVs bdays are about 5 days apart.
Ryan won 12 races at 19. To have a total of 29 on his 20th bday.
Jett currently has 21 overalls.

Jett has 250 SX and almost all of 450 outdoors(turns 20 in early August) to get 8 overalls and match RV at 20. Can he get a win or two in the 450's?

At the age of 22…

Danny Magoo Chandler won BOTH Motos at the 1982 MXdN…
And…
Won BOTH Motos at the 1982 Trophee des Nations.

No one-else has done that.
Ever.

Regardless, it’s not fair a comparison; comparing the age-win rate of someone who’s had to come in from another country, to someone who’s come up through the ranks of local competition and has all the support that being home offers.
