1) Its cool to see technological progression. Wiser people would reserve judgement until more is known. Speculating with very little data usually results in looking like an ass.
2) We don't know when battery technology will allow a range that is akin to a dirt bike with 2.5 gallons of fuel. I've shown the math elsewhere. I'd wager we are a decade off of this, so nobody needs to panic that "they" are going to replace your ICE bikes.
3) I own a Tesla and a diesel truck. We should all be psyched to be alive, now. So much awesomeness in the form of amazing engineering out there. Embrace change. Life is better that way...
1) If I was going to be racing in the future, I would be a Stark deposit holder. After Stark had the journalists down for the back-to-back testing, it is a matter of when not if, the next big thing arrives.
2) How much fuel does it take to make it through practice and two twenty motos on ICE machine? Regardless I agree we are at least ten years from widespread market penetration and probably even longer that than. As long as there are not EPA regulations keep ICE machines off trails and racetracks, two strokes and four strokes will both be here for decades to come. Simple matter of economics. When the Japanese OEMs introduce their electric bikes with swappable battery backs that's when things will really get interesting, I think,
3) Totally agree. The only thing constant is change so get used to it.

I for one am VERY excited for the Stark and eMX in general. I tested the Alta and it was amazing. Light like a 125, sliding the rear into corners without stalling was a blast, and no more engine maintenance! 4 strokes and 2 strokes are becoming more and more electric as time goes on (smoother and less shifting). The natural progression will be electric.
As for professional racing, I hope eMX never arrives. You need the noise to entertain!
At first I found his posts kind of amusing, thought he’s just stirring up s..t, but when he mentioned that he’s an engineer, I felt ashamed. Just shows you, that the last thing you need today to get a degree is some brains.
