I'm a huge Trump supporter but I really wish he didn't pick a fight with everyone. Trump and DeSantis are the best we have right now and I wish they were lockstep. Trump is just a fighter and he knows nothing but fighting. At the end of the day he will support DeSantis as governor and will throw all his weight behind DeSantis in 28 but right now he is doing what he does.

The first couple years of the next administration will see some bloodletting so I'd rather it be Trump.

It's going to be fascinating to see what happens between Desantis and Trump. I wonder if Desantis bows out because he doesn't want to deal with the insanity of Trump. I predict an epic battle if they run against each other... if Trump stays out of prison.

I loved what Trump did as president…but I can’t stand him as a person…I wish he’d get out of politics…the only way the democrats keep the white house in ‘24 is if trump runs. He’s not electable at this point. Nobody will motivate the democrats in this country to vote like trump, the independents won’t vote for him…

If the is on the ballot (either as a republican or an independent), Democrats win.

Trump needs to get out of politics for betterment of the country. We need someone with his political views, his balls, but with a shred of humility, some class, and some restraint.

Well said. DeSantis winning by 20 points - and winning Miami-Dade County - is one for the history books. What it shows is DeSantis is electable on the national stage. He attracts a segment of voters Trump can’t - moderate dems and independents, and does far better with Hispanics and women.

What I'm saying is that Republicans will win a fair election in most states. I will never in my life believe that a barely functioning Fetterman beat an articulate well liked Oz. The will of the people has always been there.
