How is this for cult for you people that say that silly crap?

I'm a huge Trump supporter but I really wish he didn't pick a fight with everyone. Trump and DeSantis are the best we have right now and I wish they were lockstep. Trump is just a fighter and he knows nothing but fighting. At the end of the day he will support DeSantis as governor and will throw all his weight behind DeSantis in 28 but right now he is doing what he does.

The first couple years of the next administration will see some bloodletting so I'd rather it be Trump.

It's going to be fascinating to see what happens between Desantis and Trump. I wonder if Desantis bows out because he doesn't want to deal with the insanity of Trump. I predict an epic battle if they run against each other... if Trump stays out of prison.

I loved what Trump did as president…but I can’t stand him as a person…I wish he’d get out of politics…the only way the democrats keep the white house in ‘24 is if trump runs. He’s not electable at this point. Nobody will motivate the democrats in this country to vote like trump, the independents won’t vote for him…

If the is on the ballot (either as a republican or an independent), Democrats win.

Trump needs to get out of politics for betterment of the country. We need someone with his political views, his balls, but with a shred of humility, some class, and some restraint.

He won bigly. Now don't get cocky and stupid. It'll be good contrast for 22'.

I still have a bunch of friends and hear a lot of people wanting Trump back. I think that will just lose the position.

Agree. He’s damaged goods man. Loved his policies. Hated the way he conducted himself. He will not win another election. He lost the popular vote twice already. And it wasn’t even really close.

Well said. DeSantis winning by 20 points - and winning Miami-Dade County - is one for the history books. What it shows is DeSantis is electable on the national stage. He attracts a segment of voters Trump can’t - moderate dems and independents, and does far better with Hispanics and women.

If Trump runs he fucks the country up for 6 years to come.

100%.

If the GOP doesn't shed themselves of DT, and do it real soon, they are going to be in for serious hurt in a couple years. Even if Mr. Desanctimonious might not be the best for the job, he'd paste JB & the Dems easily..

But, some still think he's the best they've got - next two years are going to be really interesting, in a train wreck spectating kinda way.

When I say "we" I'm in particular referring to the Republican party but in general it is Americans and judging by your location you should just move along.

What are you saying here? That the 20 point spread is because of all those Florida election procedure changes, rather than voter opinion? I thought those changes were supposed to secure the process?

What I'm saying is that Republicans will win a fair election in most states. I will never in my life believe that a barely functioning Fetterman beat an articulate well liked Oz. The will of the people has always been there.

My wife was commenting on Mr. Walker, and said that his sentence structure was equivalent to that of a fifth-grader, and was that because of football?

I defended Mr Walker, in that he has always spoke in that manner, and likely had nothing to do with football.

Trump backed candidates have been soundly rejected. Time to move on or get wrecked in 2 years. DeSantis is the best bet.

The best thing DeSantis could do is make a vow to never utter Trumps name or answer any questions regarding him. Totally ignore him. Persona non grata. No debates. Nothing.

I agree with this, and I voted for Trump. The most important thing to come out of yesterday is that the entire R party needs to move on from Trump. He is too divisive..
