Yep, first world problems ... I know. I've been a fan of Alpinestar gear for awhile and usually buy some of their gear when it comes out each year. Gonna pass this year as I'm not crazy about this being wrapped around my bony azz. That kinda thing has the potential to make a big butt look bigger or bring unwanted attention to a non-existent butt Smile

Surprisingly, looks like that butt wrapped logo is on every pant they sell for 2023.

Any suggestions on some fav gear for 2023?

Yeah I’ve got a size of 36s from 2018 that are too big and a size of 38s made in 2021 that are borderline too small

Yes, I was thinking about something from Thor also. I've not actually held the product to see how it's put together but I like the look of the ultra-low dollar "basic" line that Thor has. Pants are like 75 bucks and I like the look of the blue set in the basic line. My fear is that the quality might be a bit low in regards to stitching, whether there's leather on the knees, etc. I tend to like the look of gear that doesn't look like it was involved in a paint shop explosion.

Hey, If I pay for a riding costume...Don't wanna feel silly in it.

side note...A buddies girlfriend refers to his riding gear as a "costume", so we've jokingly stuck with that.

There is not any Leather on the Sector line of pants on the Knees. The blue and red basic /solid colorways are both a little bit brighter in person than most photos.We've only been selling Thor for about a year so far, but I have not had many complaints about the pants or any of the gear other than it can run small compared to other brands. I have had a customer damage them in a crash, the but started to fade a little bit, and a customer melted a hole in their pants while leaning against their bike. But this rider also did that in other brands before. And after a lifetime of riding one brand, switched to a new brand. It seems like its very good bang for the buck gear. The Pulse line is the next one up and there is a solid black available and they have some almost solid colors . a dark blue, red and super bright neon yellow. That have small hints of designs. The pulse pants fit a hair tighter than the Sector , but they have leather in the knees, a velcro belt system and the 2023 Pulse pants have the plastic ratchet strap instead of the snap. A big jump up in quality for not a big jump in price. Retail for pant/jersey is still only around $155. Overall most of the 2023 Thor gear is nice and clean looking. I like it overall better than the 22 lineup. The Prime line is amazingly stretchy and lightweight , but its also the snug fit style. If You are buying new gear for the first time in a while , I would recommend going in to a local shop and trying it on . All of the 2023 Thor has the same "chassis" as the 22 gear did so it fits the same. I've just noticed that they changed out the snap to a buckle on the Pulse pants for 2023. But the fit should be the same for each line. The Sector Pants have been popular because of the price and they have a little more relaxed fit to them. As you go up the line , the gear gets a little more snug fitting. Sector, Pulse, Prime. The Prime pant is all stretch material except for the knees which are leather and the butt which is nylon.

Man.. Take it from me. Do not even bother buying gear without leather in the knees. It's like your bike is made out of butter its so gripless. I love my seven Vox stuff so much I had leather sewn into the pants, but it's the last time I buy low end gear.

Another thing to look out for is gear without ample stretch zones. I require excessive stretch due to my size and height and when I wear low end gear with primarily polyester construction, it's like a straight jacket.

I don't work for thor lol but that's why I love the pulse stuff. It does all that and has an adjustable waist so you can get the pants to fit perfect. Answer Elite is great too but you pay for it. Go on motosport right now, they have the pulse kits for less than 100 dollars atm.
